Stayed here recently on a short overnight stay for business. While some of the fixtures and fittings aren't modern, everything worked flawlessly, the linen was freshly laundered and the place was spotlessly clean.
It's an easy walk to cafes and restaurants, and there's a little supermarket almost directly behind the place a five minute walk down a laneway. Pleasant outlook and all you'd need for a night or two, with off street parking that would be easy to get a large SUV in and out of. I'd be very happy to stay here again.

Basic old style motel accommodation. The building shows its age but the room was comfortable and clean. Wifi, T.V. tea/coffee, fridge. Great view of Brisbane Water across the road from the large first floor window.
Good value for money. Jennifer was extremely helpful with the telephone booking & late check in arrangement.

This had everything you could possibly want except a hand towel and wine glasses!!!Nice to have a microwave , air con/heater, great shower and location was ideal.... a step over the road to the beach and shops right behind the motel. Ettalong has a lot to offer! The only small issue despite what I mentioned is a lack of powerpoints. Friendly staff and great to have free wifi which the Mantra doesn’t offer

My favourite place to stay in my favourite getaway town. Love the location opposite the water with great water views from the first floor rooms, clean & comfortable, friendly staff, onsite cafe, close to shops, Diggers Club, cafes & ferry wharf to Palm Beach & beautiful walks along the waterfront. Highly recommend this motel & will definitely stay again..and again

This is an old Motel, from the outside, you would be like, hmmmm .....but for what you pay, you are getting, good, clean accommodation, across the road from the beach and within easy walking distance to The Ettalong Pub, IGA and some nice cafes.
The people who work there lovely and happy to help with whatever you need.
We stayed on the bottom floor, room 12, you can see a bit of water, there's plenty of parking, free wifi, a picnic table out the front of your room, if you want to sit and have a coffee in the sun.
Room 11 does kind of join up with this room and you can hear the people in that room, but Ettalong is so nice, you'll hardly be in your room, especially if it's a great sunny day! So it didn't bother us at all.
The beds are sooooo comfy too!
My suggestion is call them direct, don't book via a secondary website.

I loved my stay here, the location is fabulous opposite the water & only a few minutes walk to shops, cafes, supermarket, the bay beach & the ferry to Palm Beach. Direct access to lovely walks for km's along the waterfront. The view from my upstairs queen room was amazing & I could sit there all day just looking out the window. The room although a little dated was clean & comfortable and included a microwave, toaster & lounge which a lot of motels don't have. Lily the manager was very friendly & helpful. I recommend this motel & will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights very old and tiered falling apart. The second afternoon we got back at 6 we found we had been locked out of our room the screen had been locked and we didn't have a key for it. No one was on site and no one was answering the phone no left on the door 1.5 hours we kept calling and it's only that a friend of ours had painted there in the past that he was able to track down owners mobile no...so disgusting place needs to be shut down

The one night stay was very pleasant considering I stayed in the ground floor room where there were no waterfront views. The location is ideal in proximity to the water front and main street shops. Although my stay was work related, I could definitely see myself staying here again whether it is with the family or a special night away with wife.
The price pricing is affordable on all levels and the staff are extremely helpful when you require assistance.

Beautiful family room 2 minutes to beach.Beach was very clean.The Asian lady in charge of Motel was super helpful.For sure I'm going back.Great location plenty of shops within 5 minutes walk plus clubs you can visit for dinner
