We stayed here for 1 night last night and were fortunate enough to get one of the 4 drive-in spots for our camper trailer due to a last minute cancellation. We paid $47 for one night and think it is definitely worth it. Plenty of space to set up camp, with power and water on site. Amenities included very clean toilets and plenty of shower cubicles, a common area/kitchen, BBQ areas, jumping pillow, pool and playground if you have kids (or if you are young at heart). This holiday park has plenty of powered sites and they're all reasonably sized (some of them have ocean views!) This holiday park is also dog friendly and has direct beach access to a nearby dog-friendly beach. This is one of the reasons why we chose this holiday park for the weekend. Cafes and general store close by for last minute buys and morning coffees. Can't wait to be back!

We chose to stop here for a night on a powered site for $45. The campsite was amazing on arrival with friendly staff, super clean amenities and a large kitchen area with plenty of bbq areas and space for everyone to use.
The sites were a perfect size and very spacious full of green grass. The pool was one of the largest we have come across on our travels around Australia and kept very clean!
Everything was going great until the night where we were unlucky enough to be kept awake by a group of about 30 loud rude group of adults drinking, shouting and screaming in the camp kitchen until the early hours, myself and other campers on a few occassions asking them to be quiet.
In the end around 1am we ended up calling the emergency after hours and the problem was dealt with immediately.
The next morning we wanted to book another night as we loved the campsite itself but were a bit apprehensive regarding the group who were staying in the cabins.
We went and spoke to management and mentioned the noise, honestly they couldn't of been more apologetic, taking so much pride in the customers who stay with them and handling the situation extremely well so we booked another night and had a lovely night.
Unfortunately it's other guests who have no regard to the owners or other guests who can ruin a place but i just want to say thankyou for a great stay and being so understanding and helpful it really made a massive difference and the campsite and location was just awesome! We will be back.

This park is one of the best we've stayed in on The Central Coast and we've tried quite a few.

The reception staff and office are welcoming and bright. The grounds, pool and playgrounds are beautifully looked after. The cabins are super clean and really well maintained with those little extra touches that make all the difference in a home away from home. Things like quality pillows and mattresses, well equipped kitchen, a spa bath that works, a BBQ and picnic table on a wider and more privately orientated cabin deck, and plenty of washing up liquid and toilet paper for extended stays.

There's direct access to a safe family beach. The pool was super clean. The onsite food van was tasty, affordable and super friendly. They even had excellent live music near the pool in the evening!

And I was most impressed to read their thoughtful and informative information folder in the cabin which had all kinds of great green initiatives for guests in the park.

We couldn't fault it. The kids were never bored between riding their bikes and scooters, playing on the jumping pillow, swimming in the pool or catching some great waves on the beach. And we had a private and shady deck on our cabin where we could BBQ breakfast lunch and dinner and down a few bevvies. Top park!

Stay here if you want to be charged $186 to camp on a tiny patch of brown grass opposite a skip bin, toilet block and infront of a derelict van right at the back of the park. Stay here if you then want to deal with the ever so unhelpful rude manager Carla whos response to our reasonable request to move to a better site for the amount of money we were paying was met with the abrupt response that there is nothing they can do and I need to speak to the council. Stay here if you then want to be told that yes they agree your site is crap but that it is your own fault because you booked on their website and didn't call up and they can't move the site you get allocated (side not upon checking our email we were allocated a different site to the one we got checked in on so that's a lie).Stay here if you then by default and gritted teeth get offered to moved to a ever so slightly better site as one gentleman didn't tell them the size of his caravan so got upgraded to a better site that miraculously they had available but they didn't have anything for us to change to 5 mins prior.
Stay here if then once getting settled on your site you want to experience the pleasure of Alan the other manager coming right up onto your site and almost into your van no not to make amends for the previous incident but instead to stand there and abuse you for ever daring to make a complaint about your site because once again its your own fault that you booked online. Sheesh their website maybe needs a disclaimer if this is their default response to complaints
Stay here if you then wish to stand there dumbfounded while Alan continues to have a go at you about various things that were never even brought up all we wanted was a reasonable site for the large sum of money we had paid which is not an unreasonable request.
Stay here if then are not comfortable to complain or say anything else because you don't want Alan to come and threaten and attempt to intimidate you again.

This place is horrible if you're staying in a cabin or have to deal with the staff.

I took my two kiddies here for a nice holiday but I noticed my cabin was, not only old and falling apart but filthy.

I took my children to the pool to get out of the filth and relax which was great! came back and the kids showered. I noticed the bathroom floor was moldy. Then as my kids are naked from the shower A RANDOM MAN walks into the CABIN, no knocking, just straight inside.

Shocked, I jumped up off the couch ushering him outside asking who he was! would you believe it, The owner!

The water heater on the side of our cabin was broken and the owner had to turn it off, so he thought it appropriate to walk straight in to the cabin to tell me this. I wasn't able to shower that night or in the morning. As I went to bed I noticed more mold in the bedroom. The cabin hadn't been cleaned for months. grime build up everywhere and weird smells too. Totally gross. Who wants to go away feeling like they need to clean the place? the water heater was making dodgy noises all night too and kept me awake.

The next morning I was tired. I told staff I wasn't happy with anything so far. I showed them the photos and asked for a new cabin. She agreed but couldn't do it until the next day. I didn't want to be in there another minute. I came back later and asked again to be moved today and for a partial refund as I couldn't be in that moldy, filthy cabin.

The staff, especially the female owner were unbelievably rude to me. basically laughed off the fact that her husband had walked straight into my cabin and did not want to help. Luckily my Aunt was with me and as soon as they started being rude to me she gave them a piece of her mind! Yay!

We finally got moved to another cabin, which in fairness was a bit better. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in only one month as apposed to a year! like the other.

I'm still waiting for my partial refund.... but I dont think that'll happen.

I'd definitely choose another place to holiday next time. 2 of my 4 days holiday, ruined!

Excellent beach location, walking distance from camping grounds. Two beaches to choose from, there’s Shelley beach to the right which caters more for surfers and is pet friendly and Toowoon bay to the left, which has lifeguards and perfect for families with kids. You have to get up early to watch the sunrise and grab a coffee at 7am when the Cafe opens! There’s a great pool, jumping pillow & playground.
There’s cabins (#34) with ocean views, perfect for families with teenagers, it’s spacious. We have done both types of accomodation- Ensuite #1 it’s the million dollar view, without the price tag. You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed in cabin C38 which has a great view of the beach. The two bedroom cabin sleeps 5 comfortably and has 2 bathrooms. Great for two couples to share or for a family.
Very kid friendly with lots of campers and facilities in the park.
You can also escape all that on your private balcony where you can use the barbecue and watch the waves roll in.
The coffee van comes at 8am on weekends!
Will come back again.

Sandpiper Cabin has an amazing view. Cabin is very airy and well designed for coastal outlook.
Interior is satisfactory. Kitchen is functional. Towels were supplied upon arrival. Be aware that they are not changed daily.
Washing machines and dryers are coin fed.

Stayed in Beachcomber cabin 37 for 5 nights with my daughter, SiL and 2 grandchildren 6 & 4 during second week of school holidays. Cabin is attractive, well appointed and in a fabulous position- we watched whales and dolphins from the deck on several occasions, a short walk to beach and pool. Unfortunately it was quite dirty. Top of range hood was caked in grime, all corners very dirty. Disappointing given the cost. Pool and surroundings area looks tired.

Worst sleep ever! The bed in the cabin was so old you both roll into the middle, it is also positioned directly under the window and the blinds are not close enough to the window meaning there is a funnel of sunlight directed onto your face from sunrise.

So overpriced for a cabin in a van park - you could stay in a 4 star hotel for the same $$ they don't even provide beach towels.

Are your powered ensuite sites, suitable for tents? e.g. it's not just a concrete slab for a caravan?
Answer from Natalia W

Apologies for the delayed response. Sites 1-4 are concrete slabs and sites 5-8 are grassed areas. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact the friendly team at reception on 02 4332 2834.
