I have been an Executive and while I am not saying that being one necessarily means one should be treated with a greater privilege than others, it is a style which often appears to be applied by those hosting them. When an accommodation describes itself therefore as “Executive Accommodation”, there can be a reasonable expectation that the accommodation is just that little better than average. Not so with regards to this place. Upon arrival, the receptionist appears to have been away from the counter and one gained access to the door only when another guest was able to open the front door with a key you get after you have registered. Upon entering, the receptionist appeared to be engaged in other duties which from her point of view to be more pressing than registering a new guest. All done with a singular request for a signature (once the appropriate registration form was found) and the handing over of the keys with directions to go out the door and turn right. Going out the door meant going back onto the street, which was most confusing. Eventually she led me to a side door where, somewhere my as yet unstated room number existed. It was only by guessing that the very small number engraved on one of two keys gave any indication which room this might be. There was no need for the key initially however since when the room was finally located (which requires walking through a fitness room), the door was widely (wedged) open anyway.
The room is spacious enough in a rectangular way and contains a small table with hard plastic chairs and a flat pack wardrobe and bedside cabinets. It also has two comfortable (although only one used) double beds. Power outlets were along one wall hidden by the beds, making access to connect a laptop difficult as requiring a shifting of the table to the beds.
There was no guest compendium which meant having to locate the receptionist yet again to acquire the Wi-Fi password, and once a connection was made, it was very sporadic.
The bathroom was of an adequate size with a small shower cubicle. No Face cloths were provided, and the bath towels were so thin that it could have passed for a tea towel. Provided toiletries were provided in inexpensive bulk type containers. Very tacky.
It also pays to read the fine print regarding car parking available. They have only four spaces available (at cost) which need to be pre-booked. Otherwise, from Monday to Friday, you are restricted to two hours parking on the side of the road between 8am and 6pm.
On the positive side, it is located very close to the local city railway and a reasonable sized shopping centre.
A place I would be embarrassed to put an Executive, and certainly not a place I shall be returning to on my frequent trips to Sydney.

Stayed for 3 nights in June 2022 and Gloria was there running her business while preparing for a family wedding. Our room had kitchen facilities (relatively new fridge and microwave oven, plates, bowls and cutlery) and the property is within walking distance of Strathfield railway station. Thanks for your hospitality Gloria.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to shops and train station. Quick drive to arena. Not executive just normal motel style. Clean and tidy. Pay extra for parking otherwise have to move your car every two hours during week days.

I found the accommodation perfect. The room was large and comfortable and kept scrupulously clean. It is within easy walking distance from Strathfield Private Hospital and Strathfield station and shopping centre.

There is 24 hour access, the proprietor Grace could not be more helpful. Note that if travelling by car it is worth booking a car space as parking on the street is limited.

When you want the accommodation to be clean, comfortable and non-problematic this is the ideal choice.

Booked this hotel as it is close to a retailer of mine, needed a hotel with parking as I travel with valuables. When I got here they said it had no spots available and the car spots was booked out over a week ago. I booked this hotel a few days ago. So saying limited parking was available the date I booked was misleading . Also the lady that manned the front desk took 20 mins to get to the front desk to help me with check in. I arrived during check in hours. I decided not to stay here as my experience with this hotel was bad from the booking to the check in. The decor in the front reception was also full of clutter from face masks to disinfectant to riff raff. Terrible experience will never stay or recommend this place. A drive up motel or a caravan park is better !! 😣

The room was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchenette. Grace was so helpful and understanding. My husband was in Strathfield Private Hospital after having heart surgery and had no idea when he would be discharged, Bilma & Grace’s flexibility with night to night booking was very much appreciated.
The motel was situated close to the hospital, supermarket and cafes.
I would definitely stay again.

An ordinary, but very clean place to stay, suitable for one night...the stairs are a bit daunting and was pleased to be on the ground floor, even though it is a bit bumpy in places. There was a jug, small fridge , toaster and small microwave. Bed comfy with crisp linen.
Friendly staff each time we spoke to one.

We stayed one night, as we had an evening of Tango and it was an inconvenient drive home afterwards. Friendly staff with good advice on breakfast (Monkey House). Convenient, sparkling clean and comfortable. Will stay next time.

I would recommend Strathfield Executive Accommodation to anyone looking for accomodation while their loved one is in Strathfield Private Hospital.
My Husband and I would like to thank the Management for their hospitality and understand in our visit.
I was in Strathfield Private Hospital for 5 days and my Husband stayed with Strathfield Executive Accommodation. It was very modern and clean accommodation, fridge and freezer big enough to have pre-cooked meals, then heat the meals in the microwave. They also have parking make sure you book in advance. It's a 5 - 7 minute walk to the hospital. Leave your car at your accommodation as parking is limited in visiting times. It is cheaper and quicker to walk. I wasn't well enough to travel 4 hours home after leaving hospital. The Management at Strathfield Executive Accommodation arranged another night in the same room no problems at all.

This place is ideal if you choosing it for location. Its very close to Strathfield train station for easy commute to the city if necessary. The rooms are clean but the room I was in was relatively small with the TV mounted at the ceiling level, this strains your neck to watch any TV unless lying flat in bed. This is not the main issue, but NOISE is. There is virtually no sound proofing, I can hear trains arriving and departing the station, airplanes flying above, TV from other guests room down the corridor, radio at reception going on till 12am, any conversations in the corridor, water noise down the pipes whenever anyone using toilet or sink and the fridge making funny squeaky noise in the middle of the night. The caretaker manager is friendly but a little unprofessional, one day I was going in to work a little late and while I was getting ready she just opened the door while I was getting ready without knocking just saying "I thought you have left for work". I am spending 6 weeks in Sydney and after 1 week I had to move out. Hope this review helps, unless you have a specific reason to stay there I wouldn't recommend it.
