After a big day of driving we're desperate for a overnight powered site. At $50.00 p/n I didn't realise who desperate I was. The amenities were possibly the filthiest and most neglected I have seen, no concrete slab and substantial road noise. Very ordinary for the money.

We stopped here as a last resort after trying numerous parks for a nights stop. Other choices were only offering minimum 2 nights stay which we were not after as we were only travelling through. Nice looking park walking distance to subway and great pizza shop. Can walk down to the lake. Would be nice if the amenities block was upgraded, needs an overhaul. Even better to have signs on door to let us know which was the ladies. Found that on the ground,

I paid $45 for a night. Later when I went to the office, I was told it was only $40. Still too much for a very run down caravan park. The amenities block is beyond tired and needs a complete overhaul. Having said that, the hot water was fine. I’d only go back as a last resort.

This was hands down the most unhygienic place I’ve ever stayed. We had booked a “luxury” cabin. Aside from it not being luxurious what I couldn’t live with was the filth. Black mould on the sofa mattress, fridge and freezer dirty with spillage, black mould in windows, someone’s else’s dirty sock and food wrappings under couches (found it after opening the sofa bed), badly patched holes in wall, ripped fly screens, some bugs kept biting kids in bunk beds I could go on. Very rundown park and I’m not sure the lake view was worth it. Soo disappointing.

We booked this but after checking in and choosing a site we visited the amenities. We are budget travellers but this bathroom was just not going to happen for us. We can deal with older style bathrooms but this was ancient and not in good condition and there was chewing gum in the sink and dead bugs all along the shelf above the sinks - not cockroaches - just flying insects that must have come in attracted to the light at night and died. It just went to show that the bathroom had not been cleaned that day. I have never checked in and then immediately left accommodation I have booked before. I did not bother speaking to the owners because I can't see how they could have done anything about the bathroom. They should stop buying cabins and redo the main bathroom. We were fooled by a cabin bathroom picture when we booked.

Well after reading all the negative reviews,I have to say that our stay in a lux lakeview cabin was really nice...Only negs I could think of was the one and only coat hanger...??...And possibly the AC filter could be cleaned...Otherwise what I have noticed in every place we have stayed in is...The sharp knives are always blunt...Knowing this,I always bring my own really sharp knives...Otherwise the pos's...The cabin was really clean and newish, the beds were comfy...To be eco friendly,I would suggest they put in paper and plastics recycle bins...Otherwise,very enjoyable...!!

We pulled in to overnight at a powered site only. Cabins were all booked out due to it being a long weekend. For that reason we were overcharged. The horror was the cramped and unhygienic facilities. Tiles missing on every shower wall where repairs had been interrupted. The basins were barely supported with dirty crumbling brick and tiles. Very few taps actually worked I don’t think there could have been any recent health and safety inspections.

Great park, people and amenities. Thoroughly excellent week spent here - very worthy of a visit.
Stayed in one of the luxury cabins #3 to be precise. Just great - everything for the solo traveller and couples - even with kids!

We made the usual mistake by driving until dark and not doing our homework when we left in the morning. The guy was friendly enough but he did try to talk us into a spa cabin for $150/night. We opted for the $120/night. It only had a toilet in the cabin. Sadly it also only had 5 sheet of toilet paper, so we bought some. Cabin lost power twice when I tried to turn a light on?! Some of the lights didn't work. Smoke detector was missing completely. The Cabin was clean but a hole in the wall never looks very inviting. Checked out Amenities and it looks like that they are in urgent need of some renovations. Very old and very out dated.
