Merelbeke is close to Gent and Bruges and not too far from Brussels. For a road trip the city hotels either do not provide parking or at best paid parking. Thomas is a great host and listens well. The home as you see is beautiful and well maintained. Not only that, the rooms are named and each has a theme. The...

Spent only one night, but had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Owner was very accommodating and breakfast was great! Home is located a few kilometers outside Ghent in the beautiful countryside and is very cozy.

Travelling by car this well appointed B & B provides a pastoral setting away from the bustle of a city. Our room and the whole premises were spotlessly clean and professionally run. Thomas, the owner, is very congenial and provides excellent information on Ghent which is a 12 minute drive from the B & B. The breakfast is simply delicious...

Stayed one night in the Australian room. It was very clean and a great private bathroom. Reminded us of a B & B we stayed at in the Cotswold area in England. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lovely conversation with a couple from the Netherlands. The owner, Nathan, was very helpful and even carried our luggage upstairs. They...

We stayed here when we went to the Ronde Van Vlanderen cycle race, lovely room (we stayed in the Australian themed room)-clean and comfortable. There is a garden that must be spectacular in summer and the breakfast was hearty to say the least. The B&B is cycle friendly and there are bikes to rent, had it been warmer we would have taken advantage of...

The owner is very hospitable and accomodating. I was not able to enjoy the garden or sitting room abiance. I arrived late as I wandered around ghent to see the illuminated buildings, and I had an early flight and he made breakfast outside of the normal hours for me. I would definately stay here again.

“It's a little out of the way for many dinner choices. Nathan the owner recommended one nearby and it was good, but there would have been more choices near Ghent. That was our destination the next morning. I would recommend eating first and then heading over to the B&B.”
