Caravan Park has good sized powered sites for large caravans. Laundry needs to be updated as very small and people would be on top of one another. Glad I had a washing machine in our van. The workmen try to keep the grounds clear of tree branches and leaves. The rubbish bins smell something terrible and all the roads in the park are full of pot holes. The park is pet friendly. I asked in the office what the temperature of the pool was and was told "go put your toe in to find out!!!!!!!"

It was lovely to have good amenities; showers were always clean, they drained properly, had shower curtains and had multiple hooks. Good quality fixtures and fittings in kitcen and amenities. Cleaning staff and maintenance staff are doing an excellent job. Thank you!

This park is in nestled along a creek with bike/walk parks leading all the way into the city. The location is great. There is also a bus stop outside with buses regularly going to the city.
The park is dated and in need of some repair. The roads around the park are breaking up and most sites are small and made of packed gravel. The site we were on was not even. The ensuite was adequate and clean but rather small and old.
The camp kitchen and games room is excellent with great facilities for seating families. A new jumping pillow has just been installed. The swimming pool area offers shaded seating areas and is clean.

We booked a one bedroom cabin at crystal tourist park for a weekend date as a couple. It was very disappointing because the park is nothing like what shows on the photo, the photos were professional taken. The cabin is small and only a double size bed, I weaked up multiple times at night because the bed was uncomfortable. And there are not much to do around the park. It is also quite noisy we couldn’t have a quite night of sleep. I paid $129 for a night and in the booking only had one person. So when I finish the trip I couldn’t key out I went to the reception the staff were almost like bullies they said you only booked for one person but had two people and also brought two cars. Me and my partner had to come two cars because he had the business meetings before so I came first. I was trying to explain myself but the staff said there are cars behind you trying to get out so get out of here. It is unbelievable for the $129 we paid for one night with the service and facilities we get. Not recommended for those booking their next holiday.

We recently brought our grandchildren 8 and 5 away for several nights at Crystal Brook Tourist Park. The location was just perfect being only an hour from their home and yet it is so beautifully rural with great facilities and lovely walks.
It was their first experience in a caravan park and the family villa was specious and very clean.
Plenty of things to do for families. Warrandyte village and Yarra Valley are a short drive away.

Not all caravan parks experience can be guaranteed to be pleasant. This place is definitely one of them. Total unpleasant and disgusting. Being treated like second class citizen and seems like I own this owner $1mil in debt. Highly Unrecommended to book here.

The rude female owner does not allow two cars or more into her territory of one booking for no reason. if you need more help from her, it is like you have to beg her even though we paid $200 for one night cabin . I was stopped at the boom gate for more than 15 min because I am driving the second car in this the next morning (my friend drove the first one) and she just fully ignored my request of getting out. Upon request to lift the boom, she still kept doing her own chores and put the gust’s request behind for 20 min.

Personally I would not book any night at this place. If you want to have unpleasant experience, this is best place to book.

Looks a bit worn when entering. The roads are in terrible shape. Contrary to that; amenities are more than OK, clean, well maintained and in good condition.
For those travelling to Melbourne city, the bus stop is approx. 200 meters away and you go straight to the city. Could not be easier.
Friendly staff; too bad there is no WiFi.

Thanks for your review. Our park is definitely an oasis in the metropolitan area. Unfortunately, our free wifi is not the strongest but we are working on it. Thanks for visiting our wonderful park.

The best holiday park we’ve stayed in so far. Had an amazing playground right out the front of our cabin for our kids, surrounded by trees and nature. My dogs were especially happy to be apart of our trip with their own personal backyard attached to the cabin and a dog run for them to run and play.
25 minutes to the city, zoo and markets and amazing shopping centre 5 minutes away.
We had a blast

We needed somewhere to stay for a wedding and this turned out to be the perfect location. The one bedroom cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. We didn’t get to see much else of the park but it appears to have some great facilities for families. A lovely spot.

We have 2 small dogs Westie and Scottie. Can they stay with us in Cabin?
Answer from CrystalBrookTP
Doncaster East, Australia2 contributions
Hi there and thanks for the enquiry. We are a pet-friendly tourist park; pets are allowed in our caravan / campervan sites and we have 7 cabins that are allocated as pet-friendly: your dogs would be able to stay in the cabin with you. We do have some restrictions on what breeds we accept but most small breeds, including Westies and Scotties are absolutely fine. We have a pet policy that outlines the park rules regarding pets, feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss the policy or have any questions. Kind regards, Crystal Brook

This is a dog friendly Park but if you expect the owners to allow 3 larger dogs in a cabin you are being optimistic, but in your own Caravan is fine...and ask for a larger site too.
