Great accommodation will definitely stay here again. We stayed at a cabin. We loved the layout/setting of the whole camp-site. The layout was in seperate levels which seperate cabins from camping vans and from tents. It has a great country atmosphere and country views. The cabin is modern and clean, bed was comfortable, very quiet, nice and cosy, bathroom was...

Stayed one night in campervan. The site is small to medium sized, although not modern the facilities are very clean and well maintained. It is situated about 500 metres from village and sea. Portobello itself is small but ideal if visiting the beautiful Otago Peninsula. There are not many shops so best to buy supplies in Dunedin before heading out...

Whenever we are in the Otago Peninsula, we stay here for 2 nights. Sites are fairly spacious, and each with a dump station and water tap. The facilities are a bit dated but clean, but when the camp ground is full, early morning one might have to wait quite a while before a shower becomes available.

Still a nice little spot. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty and clean facilities. Nice BBQ area, kitchen expanded since 2012. We like to stay here, perfect to explore the wonderful Otago Peninsula. We will stay again here.

Stayed for several nights and enjoyed its location just down the road from the main road. Reception staff were welcoming and all facilities were in excellent condition and kept very clean. A good base when visiting the area. Wifi worked but only lasted one hour from the time you logged on - a minor inconvenience.

We had stayed here in 2001 in a Campervan and this time stayed in a motel room so completely different experiences. It did not appear anything has been done to the park since we were here previously and that would be my only complaint. It is not close to Dunedin city centre if you are only here for a short...

Wonderful place, we really enjoyed staying here. Friendly helpful staff. Clean modern and standalone unit. We got unit 8 a queen studio. Cozy bed too. I dont have a bad thing to say about this place, im fussy so thats a first. It is 20mins from town, but theres plenty to explore close by. The main kitchen was well stocked...

Not much at the end off Otago Peninsula for lodging, but the Tourist Park in Portobello is Great!. There are about 8 portable homes that are in new condition with separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The homes come with everything you need. Quiet , roomy, clean, location it's everything one looks for. The owner was as sweet as...

When we booked this park we thought that we would be closer to Dunedin and whilst initially a little disappointed we had two very enjoyable nights here and would recommend the park to travelers. The self catering in room was limited, however, the camp kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of tables / chairs for visitors to use....

Lovely small-medium sized campground in excellent location on the Otago Peninsula. Situated on the main peninsula road (the Portobello Road) roughly in the middle between Dunedin and Taiaroa Head - so good for city visiting (Dunedin is 11 miles South West), Albatross/Penguin spotting (Taiaroa is 11 miles North East) and visiting Larnach Castle (3 miles South West). Very friendly and...
