The Silver Point is a small hotel on a popular kitebording beach. The hotel itself is directly on the water and in a Bajan neighborhood. Although some travelers seem to be intimidated by the nearby mix of poverty and million dollar homes, this is unfounded....More

There is public transportation on the island, the fare is $2USD if I am not mistaken, however the nearest bus stop is 0.5 miles from the hotel. They may not allow you to get on the bus with bulky luggage. You may check out the Barbados airport website(ground transportation) to see if there is a bus route to the hotel area or email the hotel directly. Normally all guests arrive by taxi or rental cars. Taking a bus may be inconvenient and the savings minimal.
