We had a very enjoyable stay in this traditional auberge located right in the Centre of Les Diablerets. The hotel is simple, but charming and clean. If a wifi connection is important to you, try to get a room on the first floor - ours was on the second, and the signal was too weak.

We once again had a very enjoyable stay the Auberge de la Poste. As I've mentioned before this a typical Swiss wooden framed house and as such you have to expect the rooms to be compact and of course the walls are not very thick so you sometimes hear the guest next store! But apart from that it is a... More

This review is for the self-service apartments that are part of Auberge de la Poste, and not the hotel itself. Our little family of 3 stayed at this charming and superfriendly establishment 2 weeks ago and had a marvelous time. We were looking for a small self-contained chalet where our 8 month old son could move around freely and where... More

We stayed in this well located small hotel for our Christmas skiing trip. When we saw our "family room for 4 people" we wondered how we would all fit in at the same time! To put it mildly, the room we had at least, was not at all according to the website. The Auberge tries to market itself as a... More

We stayed at Auberge de la Poste in the last week of April, 2013. This happened to be the week that most of Les Diabrelets went on vacation and closed between the winter and summer seasons! However the family that runs Auberge de la Poste was willing to rent us the room for the week even though most of the... More

Good Points: 1. Basic hotel in a good central location. Bad Points: 1. The room was down the corridor from the kitchen. The hotel therefore stank of burning cheese. 2. They dont make the beds unless you strip the bed yourself for them 3. Dont clean the room except empty whatever you put in the bin. EXCEPT when you dont... More

We stayed here with the Ski Club of Great Britain, with a group of 12 for 6 nights.Very easy to reach from Geneva airport in two and a half hour by train, with the last hour the most scenic trainride you can imagine. The location of the Auberge is the best, short walk from the station in the middle of town near shops... We just arrived back from a very pleasant stay at the Auberge de la Poste. We had a typical small wooden bedroom that is common in hotels of that period. It was very cosy and a real pleasure to fall asleep listening to the flow of the river. The staff were most helpful and very friendly. Dining in the restaurant... More

After taking the little mountain train from Aigle, which winds itself gently up the mountain to the delightful village of les Diablerets, you walk for a short distance from the station and you come upon the lovely Auberge de la Poste. The accommodation was delightful, clean and fresh, all contained within a traditional Swiss chalet. The restauarant, although not cheap... More

Central located this small hotel is perfect for an short stay; everything is tiny - the rooms - the bathroom, but you get a warm welcome and an excellent food in the restaurant. Out of the season there is nothing spcial to do in Les Diablerets - even your TV Set has only 2 local channels. Godd time to enjoy,... More

“This is a compact country inn, so expect the rooms to be small and apart from that if you have got big cases ask to use the side stairs as it is a little wider and makes lugging the bags around easier.”
