The hotel itself is ok, not spectacular but very clean and I would say that the price was fine. The thing which I cannot understand is the breakfast. One waitress responsible for cleaning tables / bringing plates etc. so you need to wait until you even can take a seat. For the breakfast, you can eat disgusting scrambled eggs / cheap ham/cheese and croissant. There was no even bread and we had to wait for it... For a 4 star hotel its like a cheap joke

I was running a two day workshop in the conference facilities here and staying. Isabelle was super helpful with all my last minute requirements. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was a little slow on service (lunch was +1.5 hours even when we said we were on a tight schedule) but that might just be me needing to slow down! The rooms are quiet (despite a railway right next door) with the front facing having an epic view of lake Geneva.

Stayed here on business for two weeks. The best part of the hotel is the view across Lake Geneva and the mountains. My room had a balcony and to be able to sit there in the evenings after work with a drink just looking at the view made my stay just perfect. It is located opposite the railway so you do get a bit of noise from passing trains and traffic but when the sliding doors are closed you can’t hear a thing. The room was large and well maintained although it did not have any cupboards or drawers for my clothes. Just a few shelves behind the bed and to the side of the minibar. Having a kettle with tea and coffee was a definite bonus because in my travels I usually only find this in UK hotels. The breakfast was ok but the scrambled egg wasn’t the best I’ve had. There was only fresh fruit on a few days. They seemed to run out of it quite often. I saw jam for the bread but no butter or margarine. The main restaurant is independent of the hotel so you can’t book a table at reception. This wasn’t a problem as for my stay it wasn’t always that busy. The food was absolutely amazing. Open from 6pm which is a bonus as I like to eat early. But it closes on Sunday. Parking is a mixture of covered and open spaces. I was able to get a space every day but mainly because I got back from my work at around 5pm each day. I noticed later in the evening the spaces were getting quite full but not every day. And they are free. I was able to explore the area as I stayed the weekend. It’s very charming and there are a few benches facing the view. I found a cafe and a pizza place which were about a twenty minute walk from the hotel. I used the cafe on Sunday evening as the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays. Overall this was a great place to stay I would definitely be coming back when I am working nearby again in the future. All the staff did an excellent job and as I have said already the view was spectacular and to have it first thing in the morning and last thing at night was the best thing ever.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room with a balcony with a nice view of the lake but it was also noisy from the road and train. There is also a loud air conditioning in the room which we were unable to turn off. The room was very basic and plain. It was ok for just one night but I would not want to spend any longer there. It is quite expensive for what you get.

I travel every year to Montreux. This time I decided to venture a bit outside the crowded city and found this beautiful hotel. Which is located right on the main road, overlooking the lake, mountains and vineyards. The hotel has on site free parking (great feature you won't get in Montreux). The employees were very friendly and kind. The rooms are simple, but spacious and comfortable. Basically everything you need. There is also an on-site fitness centre and the restaurant in the hotel is very good. Excellent option to discover the nearby towns of the Lavaux region, eat excellent food and try fantastic wines. I will definitely come back to Hotel Lavaux (I actually ended up extending my stay).

Very modern hotel. Nice rooms. Super sound insulation as they are right on the road. The trade off is the great view though. Short walk to Cully, which is a posh suburb of Lausanne.
You’d stay here to walk to Cuully or train / boat to Lausanne, or to have a wonderful dinner at their restaurant, which is brilliant

Air conditioning not working. No alternative, or discount offered. Had to keep windows open at night to the noisy road and train track next to it. Rooms are spacious. We had a good kitchen attached. Small terrace balcony with good views.

The location is really nice as having view on the lake. The structure is new and the staff is friendly and well prepared. Just a little negative aspect: very small room and bathroom, extremely bright artificial light in the bathroom.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my husband as part of the 4 lakes Golden Pass Swiss Tour with Thomson Lakes & Mountain holidays in June 2003. The hotel is clean and the management very friendly. The views of Lake Geneva are nice. However, the location of the hotel is not good! It is beside a very busy main road with fast moving traffic and no pedestrian crossing, and you need to cross the road to get anywhere including the train station and the boat station. It is also beside the railway running from Montreux to Lausanne which has trains running throughout the night - a very noisy hotel - even with the complementary earplugs that were supplied by the hotel in each bedroom !! It is located about 1 km from the village of Cully and the nearest boat station. Might have been just tolerable if we'd had our own transport, but a bad choice if you have to rely on public transport.
