I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how good the service was. We arrived late on Friday and were able to eat a nice wok meal, which the chef kindly made for us, with the help of the very lovely Spanish lady who was on the front desk. The staff are great, and super friendly. The chalet is...

We had a very big room, next to the jacuzzi, that was smart. The view is amazing. There is wood everywhere in the rooms. The staff is very welcoming. We had two separate beds. The bathroom is very big and should be more uptodate.

Located at the top of Leysin but near a rail stop makes for a quiet location with fantastic views but easy to get to. Staff are friendly, breakfast was good and has loads of character. If you want to get some exercise its 20 mins to the centre of town (it is a steep climb up the various stairs) -...

Was great to be there in such chalet atmosphere. The rooms are lovely in such wooden style that makes you feel the chalet is yours. Jacuzzi outside is most appreciated. Dining room with beautiful view on the Alpes. Breakfast is optimum of skiers as well. Was also great to sit by the fire for an evening drink.

We booked what was supposed to be a four bed room and our surprise came when we saw that two of the beds were actually matresses on the floor. It wasn't anything similar to a bed or a portable bed. You actually had to sleep on the floor. For 140€, that is not what we expected.

I had a wonderful time at the Grand Chalet in Leysin, it deserves its name as it is attractively built in chalet style - inside and out - but is 5 stories high! (There is a lift!). The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was superb and the views from my room gorgeous. I would highly recommend a stay...

Unlike other hotels that show photos of just their balconies but not the actual sub-par views their guest rooms have, this hotel truly does have amazing views - views you usually only see in picture books. They are simply stunning! When I asked our friends from Leysin, which hotel had the most Swiss feel, they told us we had to...

I spent one night here at the end of July, the hotel has been refurbished. The location and views are of course unchanged and stunning. The rooms are compact but comfortable. I decided to eat in. The food was just as uninspiring as my previous visit. A bit like mid class cruise food. Not memorable in a positive way.

We had a small problem (previous guest had broke something), with our room when we arrived, but it was it was fixed quickly, without any hassel. The rooms really nice and quit, and we had the perfect view. The inhouse resturent where really good, with...

We stayed at Le Grand Chalet for 2 nights and were quite happy to have chosen this location. The staff was very friendly at all times, dinner was really nice (the chef clearly knows his job) and the breakfast buffet was good as well. And as a bonus breakfast was extra enjoyable thanks to the fantastic terrace, with impressive views....
