Base Vevey is an innovative, eco-friendly hotel residence concept with the latest technologies. The 35 suites are modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows, fully equipped kitchens, double bed for a royal sleep as well as free high speed internet connection. Opening in Spring 2018 for stays of one night or more!

Booked this place for 1 night stay after reading so many great reviews. Still i came with average expectation since this is marketed as a serviced apartment. However, to my surprise, the entire experience was beyond fabulous! Firstly, the communication was prompt and helpful throughout. The staffs were very friendly and warm during check in/out. The reception area was small but extremely cosy as they have everything set up in a very modern and neat was. You could see how thoughtful they are in providing the necessary facilities in the entire building and in the room. Everything you see inside the room seem to be super new, equipped with good quality stuffs, comfy bed and pillows, full length window with nice view, extremely good location - central yet quiet and adequate lighting. Good concept with the breakfast bag although we didn't opt for it. Would have wanted to try the sauna but was closed last minute due to additional restriction imposed. Good parking options by the hotel at SBB which is not too far away at all. Also, free masks were provided - how thoughtful!
If i may pick on areas to improve, it would be perfect if several things can be considered and these are easy additions: bedroom slippers, gloves for oven, more kitchen cloths, hooks in bathroom and most importantly NETFLIX!! The last item will certainly go nicely with the modern and young theme of the hotel!
Still, it deserves 5 stars and i will definitely consider staying here again should i come back to Vevey other times!

very comfortable stay in this perfect (and almost new) Apart-hotel. We booked a Base Suite that was very calm (absolutely no noise) and perfectly equipped. A Base-Bag breakfast was offered as extra, we took it once and it was great, but it's also quite easy to get out to buy fresh Croissants and have a coffee in the room (Nespresso machine available including capsules). Unfortunately COVID situation has forced some extras to close such as restaurant and bar at the roof-top, otherwise it could be also better. Next time in Vevey, we will book here again for sure.

From the first contact with the hotel, we knew this was going to be a pleasant stay. The staff was kind and patient with any and all questions that arose. The new approach to 'contactless' check-in, certainly eased our first night.
The rooms are well fitted. The kitchenette is neat and has everything that one would need to cook for oneself or others. The in-room entertainment system is mid-range but does the job. The mattresses and the duvets are incredibly comfortable, some of the nicest sleep I've had. The noise isolation is on par with a music studio, so you would have no trouble counting sheep.
The location could've not been better. Situated between the train station and the lake, everything is within walking distance. The big shops like Manor and Coop are only a minute away, which is great when you're carrying groceries back for a delicious dinner.
They also offer free bike rental, which is a great way to spend sunny afternoons, going along the riviera either to Montreux or Rivaz.
All in all, we are greatly satisfied with our small vacation. A perfect stay for a couple or alone.

Hubby and I stayed here late September and we’re looking forward to returning next year with friends. The location is perfect. Short walk to train station, grocery store across the street. The beautiful lake is just a short walk away.
Our room had everything we needed. Comfy bed, great little kitchen to make breakfast if you choose to. We could open our window and hear the water running down the little creek. Everything was very clean. They have a washer and dryer to use for a very reasonable price.
Best part about Base Vevy is the two young people working the front desk. Both were very friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to return.

My wife and I were visiting Vevey for a short visit to overcome the weariness of the prolonged Covid restrictions. We chose Base Vevey based on the reviews and we really enjoyed our two night stay. The aparthotel is located very centrally and everything from the station to bus stops and shopping to the beautiful lake promenade are just a 3-4 minute walk away. We loved our room. Very modern with great equipment. The kitchenette was a great asset even as eating out was still restricted. The mattress and pillows were superior quality as well. In fact, Base Vevey has ensured that everything in the room was of good quality, no cheaping out. Everything was clean and all Covid protection steps were clearly maintained. We also need to acknowledge the young staff members at the reception who were always cheerful and helpful with any questions we had. Just one piece of advice: while we had enough coffee pods and tea pods - they were refilled as well- there was no milk or cream in the room. Even little satchets or containers would be such a help. But that's just a little suggestion. We are coming back as this time we had a great stay.

Booking and leading to check-in easy. Lobby is fresh simple and modern. So is the check-in. Room at first entrance is just great. Modern and everything that is needed. Thought was put into it. Base Vevey is really an excellent choice when you travel not only to Vevey, but the Lemana lake area. the location is very good inside the town and also as a base for your journey trips. rooms ara absolutely comfortables and very quiet. We had a great stay at Base Vevey. We were greeted by a blonde lady working in reception who was incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of her way to help us. Couldn’t rate her more highly. She gave us advice on the local area, we rode the bikes along the lake and we got the Rivera card from her as well to travel into Montreux. We also borrowed an adapter as ours didn’t fit the socket.
Room was clean, newly decorated, comfy, had everything we needed and even felt a bit fancy with being able to see from the bedroom into the bathroom (curtain to close if you want).
Gym in the basement was a good size and had plenty of equipment. Roof terrace views are lovely.
Overall really recommend the hotel. We stayed Friday-Sunday and the hotel was nice and quiet.

Very modern and trendy hotel at walking distance form the train station of Vevey and very close to the lake and the old city center. We only stayed for one night in this hotel, but would gladly stay here again. The staf was very friendly and welcoming. We really had some nice chats with them.
The hotel room was spacious and very modern. We loved the excellent shower and the very comfortable bed. The room is more than just a hotel room. It comes equipped with a small seating area and a kitchen. Very convenient if you're looking for a place to stay longer.
The hotel also has bikes you can use and a lovely rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view on the surroundings. They offer their guest a box with a continental breakfast, delivered every morning at your room. But we didn't try this, so I can't comment on the quality.
