We travel to the Alps nearly every year and thought we had seen the best of Switzerland ... until we visited the magical village of Klosters and enjoyed the hospitality non pareil at Chesa Grischuna. If there is a Brigadoon, this is it. Our room was a welcome change from the modern style that has robbed lodging throughout Europe of...

A Royal Treatment - you certainly deserved it. Thank you again for your visit and your nice words. We share your compliments with our team. Hope you are having a great time on the lake of Lucerne and have been swimming in the lake! Best wishes Barbara and Marianne (and Shanti)

One night in summer at the annex (room 5) of this historical hotel. Reception staff was somewhat unfriendly and annoyed that we had used booking.com instead of direct booking. Good start. The room was OK with small balcony. The annex is a 2 min walk from the main hotel where breakfast is served. The beds are old and not comfortable...

We were sorry to read about your bad memories of the recent stay with us. When you booked you were given different types of rooms, you opted for the lowest category, a room in the annex Chalet Grischuna. The rooms there have not been refurbished recently like the ones in the historical mainhouse. This is one reason why we recommend...

The staff were friendly an helpful in this ideally located hotel in the centre of Klosters. Easy access from the train station and a bus stop outside for lifts to the further afield ski slopes. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The food is very good and very plentiful. Also a review would not be complete without mentioning the piano...

The perfect place to stay in beautiful Klosters. A historic Swiss hotel with great character. Small but luxurious with terrific facilities. Central location close to everything in Klosters. Excellent breakfasts and very good restaurant and bar. The only place to stay in Klosters for original charm and luxury.

We fell for the appeal of the Chesa on a previous holiday in Klosters (stayed at the OK but unmemorable Silvretta). It's quirky charms, great TA reviews & legendary status as the hotel that put Klosters on the map made it the no-brainier choice for our return visit. It's somewhat lost in time, you'll either get it or you won't,...

The most charming cosy sweet hotel. Only a short walk from the staion at Platz. Two hours by train from Zurich airport. Easy. We were welcomed by the hotel manageress Frau Henziker. Most friendly who informed us we had received a room upgrade! The room was absolutely lovely and old fashioned. And spotlessly clean. Breakfast is typical continental fare. The...

One of the most welcoming, charming, authentic hotels we ever stayed in. The staff could not be friendlier, more helpful or accommodating. Our room was exactly what you would expect from a small Swiss hotel. Very clean, great location in the middle of Klosters. But one of the best features is the dining room. Wood throughout, beautiful windows and furnishings....

The staff are very welcoming and the dining experience is exceptional. Our bedroom was clean and generously proportioned. It was en suite and the quality of the fittings was excellent and very modern; we even had a double washbasin! This hotel has ambience in abundance and is best described as having a Swiss chalet feel to it, which is exactly...

My family of 14 stayed at the Hotel Chesa Grischuna for 3 days. We all stayed in their Chalet which was wonderful for the families. The owners and staff went out of their way to help us and even opened the hotel a day early to accommodate our visit. The hotel lives and breaths warmth and a welcoming spirit. The...

I spent a short vacation - 5 nights - with a friend at the Chesa Grischuna and stayed each in a double room. The hotel and the rooms are lovely, the reception, the staff, the service and the restaurant were impeccable. We dined all 5 evenings at the hotel restaurant which is very good. I will gladly return.
