The hotel was great to accomodate our group of 50: nice breakfast, clean rooms and plenty of space for conferences. We loved the railway museum in the basement. In walking distance to the old town, not far from central station. Good price / quality We had a very nice stay
This is a little hidden gem of a place. The town is beautiful and only a short trip to Zermat by train to see the Matahorn. The hotel Good Night Inn was a really nice place to stay. Very central and staff are friendly. The dining area is a big surprise for this modest looking building. It's huge and full of chandeliers.Just lovely. I fell in love with this little town but it is expensive.
Nice modern rooms. Decent in-house restaurant. Prices reasonable for Switzerland. In the city centre, and just a short walk from the rail station. Highlight is the (unadvertised on the website) model railway layout in one of the garage/cellar levels. It is enormous and shows a highly detailed Swiss railway scene; the lighting changes from day to night and there are numerous passenger and freight trains appearing and disappearing in and out of the many tunnels. A truly unexpected delight and a must for any guest.
For the price we got the room for, it was exceptional. Our family of four with 2 children stayed there one night in order for us to go summer skiing on the Matterhorn in Zermatt, only a train ride away. The breakfast was a usual European one, but the dining room was really fancy. The room itself was an average size. Good WiFi.
We are a family with 2 small children and stayed here one night after visiting Zermatt and taking the Glacier Express to Chur. Very short walk from the train station to reach the hotel. We stayed in a family room with 2 double beds. The room is a bit on the small side, but OK for one night. The hotel is very big and had a feeling of a hostel - a hostel for older people (this is a positive comment :) Down in reception there is a sitting area where older people were sitting in groups, having fine before dinner and just hanging out. There is also a very nice display of the Swiss Alps at reception and a small souvenir shop. Breakfast was included in the room rate. A good continental breakfast was offered - buffet style. There was a high chair available for our one year old, so happy about that. We would stay here again if we are in the region.…
