The hotel is centrally located, 5 mins from the train station. I stayed for 4 nights and the room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean. Hotel has a restaurant and I had dinner here mostly. Portions are huge and food is ok. Breakfast is served to you and I felt it was limited. Its the same daily and hence gets boring. Maybe they can include eggs for variety.

Hotel Du Pont is in the center of Brig, you can easily walk from the train station to the hotel. It's a nice and friendly family hotel with a bit old fashioned rooms. We had a room on the 4th flour, where the ceiling was very low and the room a bit cramped. Service was okay, the staff, mainly family, was kind and caring.Breakfast was good, it was brought to your table, there was no buffet (which I liked very much).

We stayed in this beautiful Family-Run Hotel for eight days during August/September. From our arrival to departure, The Family Gemmet and all the Staff were always so very helpful, so very kind and so very obliging! Absolutely nothing was too much trouble! The rooms, whilst a little 'old fashioned' were very comfortable and spotlessley clean - the only 'disappointment' being that there were no tea/coffee making facilities, (we do however ALWAYS go with our own!) or indeed a refridgerator in the room. That said, apart, breakfast at the Hotel, every day was lovely - 'Continental' ....with ALL the trimmings, - we also ate dinner there every evening. A good range of meals available - and served to perfection! If you're staying in Brig, then Hotel Du Pont is a GOOD place to stay!

We stayed here for five nights in August, this is a great family run hotel. In a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the station. We had a lovely room, quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Hotel Du Pont is a nice and homely family hotel ideally located near the main square of Brig. Rooms are a bit faded but this is part of the charm and they are large and very clean. You can fell the heart of Brig beating in the restaurant. As a group we had a nice breakfast around a large table.
