We booked a room last minute so we could have a relaxing day at Thermalbad Brigerbad (nearby baths). We arrived at 10:30 am and asked if it was possible to drop off our bags before heading to Thermalbad. Since this is a small hotel, there are limited check-in hours. The owner sent us detailed instructions for coordinating our arrival. He was very welcoming and provided us with a 10% discount for entrance into Thermalbad. In addition to the friendly service, we were very impressed with the clean, updated, and comfortable room. There was even a wine fridge in our room! We didn't have any meals at the restaurant downstairs given it was the off-season. We were able to eat dinner at a restaurant (there weren't any other close options) that was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. As for the thermal baths, they are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel (highly recommended). If you are looking for comfortable accommodation in a small Swiss town near the thermal baths and Rhone, I highly recommend staying here.…
Had booking at this hotel, got there at 7pm, with my family and place was deserted. Neighbours tried to phone them no answer! How can you confirm a booking and not be there! Neighbours said that this happens a lot! The photo's on web beautiful! But you can see place deserted for few months! Had to drive into Innsbruck and search for place for the night!
very nice welcome. rooms excellent very clean. evening meal was execellent büt very slöw service. local dishes were being served. had to wait up to 45mins to be served. düe to lack of staff numbers. breakfast was very good. fruits cereals and meats and freash bread. büt the down side was it was not in innsbruck but 5 miles up the mountain and very hard to find.but it was worth the extra distance.
We found this place with a great deal of searching- so I'm trying to make it easier for all of us my adding this post to a great little B&B in Bingen (on the Rhein). Across the river from the better known Rudesheim, Bingen is but a 3Euro round trip away, and holds it own with beer gradens on the river and castles too. Harry and wife run the place and is very helpful and polite in all aspects of the service. Great Coffee and great breakfast, just 5 minute walk from main Hbf station and 5 mins to main part of Bingen. The bathrooms are new and clean and there is little terrace out the back whcih looks towards the river. The rooms were the cheapest of my whole european stay and defninitely good value.
