This is a good hotel to stay at in Brig. Right across the train station. Compared to all the hotels in Brig, I chose this because it was more affordable (as everything in Switzerland are expensive) and the location was excellent. Stayed in a triple room. No aircon but it was no issue since we actually used the heater. The... More

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. Staff were not very friendly but the breakfast was wonderful. It was close to the railway station so easy to get to but i would have preferred a more welcoming place.

A view of the mountains, short walk to the train station, good breakfast and great hosts. What else could you ask for. Spent two nights here in June 2016 and enjoyed the hotel and Brig. Operated by three very friendly and helpful ladies. Varied selection for breakfast with nice assistance from one of the hosts.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff members were extremely friendly and informative. The room was clean and basic. Breakfast was adequate, no cooked food, but some lovely locally cooked fresh breads were appreciated. This hotel is very close to the MGB station at street level for trains to Zermatt, Visp, Andermatt and the BLS/SBB main line... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in March. The hotel is adjacent to the Brig train station so if you are arriving by train, it is VERY convenient. Chances are, you will also be visiting all the nearby attractions by train, so the proximity is a huge plus. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is... More

Very good location! It's just across the train station. Brig is a good base if you want to go to Zermatt—where everything is expensive. I loved that it's a small quiet city. The hotel is old, from the rooms to the furnishings. We went during winter so we didn't need aircon (which they don't have). We cranked a window open,... More

The location of the hotel is great, both in terms of its proximity to the railway station, and also in terms of its central location in the country. We had a comfortable room on the fourth floor with a balcony facing Mt. Simplon. Being away from the street, the room was quiet, other than the pigeons that resided outside the... More

This hotel is a fairly simple one but neat and clean and directly across the road from the Brig railway station. This is a pretty bizarre street in this little town where the trains arrive and depart from and to the magnificent destinations the area is known for such as the Glacier Express to Zermatt, yet these trains run along... Simple and clean place to stay in Brig. Stayed at the family room with 2 adults and 2 children, at the top floor. Lifts are tiny! Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Excellent service. They seem to do everything. These 2 ladies were at the reception area upon check in, same people helped with setting up the cots, and also... More

We had stayed at this hotel several times before and liked it This summer we were travelling with three of our granddaughters and chose to stay there again for five nights. The ladies running the hotel were so very nice and went out of their way to be helpful to us. Our rooms were clean. The breakfast was very good.... More
