My wife, adult daughter and I used this property as our base in the Mosel Valley and it worked quite well. The two bedroom suite was very roomy and exceptionally clean but could probably do with a bit of a refresh. The wine plant draped court yard was very cosy and the hostess could not have been more charming and...

We wanted yup book Weingut Rademacher but it was full, so we settled for this one in some disappointment. But it turned out to be quite a nice choice. Though it's rather long walk (about 20 mins) from the train station (not THAT far but not near when it's raining), but it's very near the central, the castle and the...

Arrived by motorcycle in an all day downpour but when arrived we were basically given the room key and left to get on with it! The room was spacious but the bed creaked & groaned at just the thought of turning over. It should be replaced now! Parking for the bike was onto a shale car park to the side...

We stayed for 3 nights in May. The staff were very friendly, informative and spoke good English. This is more of a B & B than hotel but the facilities in the room we had were very good. Breakfast was plentiful and served in the restaurant/bar. We made use of the free wine voucher to sample their wine. The hotel...

We have recently come back from Cochem and really enjoyed our stay at Weingut Haxel. We rented out one of the apartments and was very happy with the size, cleanliness and location. The apartment was spotless and very spacious and within 5 minutes walk to the centre of Cochem, 5 minutes to the Bus Station and 10 minutes to the...

We have stayed in Cochem a few times and this was the first time at this place. We loved it. Brought our bikes and they had a special secure area to store them. Very friendly, warm and inviting. This will be our place to stay on all future trips to Cochem!

We enjoyed our stay. The owner made us feel at home and was on hand to offer any help if we needed it. The winery has a number of rooms in an adjacent house. We had a lovely room which had been furnished to a night standard. It was scrupulously clean and very quiet. We enjoyed a good continental breakfast...

Whenever in Cochem my family and friends always stay here. Very close to the centre, always friendly, clean and comfortable. Their breakfast and wine are great, too. Has got a free parking at the back.

We made booking for a double room initially, later a friend decided to come along. Our request for an extra bed just 2 days before our stay was processed promptly and without any problems. Everything was perfect when we arrived in the room, it was abs. clean, linen was crisp, a small tv and enough cupboard space. The breakfast from...
