I spent a couple of nights here with my wife and we really enjoyed the stay and the friendly atmosphere. The location is good, a bit aside from the bustle of the center, but on a main road so ideal for trips along the Moselle river. The house has its own free parking as well. The room was roomy enought,...

Perfect room for families, with a great view of the castle. Breakfast was wonderful and the owners were wonderfully sweet and interested in us have a good time. Parking was right next to the building, beds were comfortable and they were easily able to accommodate our requests. Market right next door for food, water, etc. very helpful when traveling. Stayed one evening on a driving trip along Moselle River. Hotel was easy to find and parking was available. Room large and clean. There is an elevator to the rooms but first you lmust get luggage up about six steps to the level of the office. About three quarters of a mile to the center of town and restaurants but...

We stayed as a group of eight and had rooms in the guest house part of the hotel which is about 50 metres away from the main hotel. The rooms were of a nice size, clean and had views over the Moselle river. There is a short walk into the town centre along a walkway by the river which is...

Would not stay any other place in Cochem. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great view over the Mosel river from the balcony. Free parking next to the hotel. A bit of a walk to the center of Cochem - but not too far. We stayed in a family room on the top floor with two bedrooms and plenty of space...

Yet another fantastic visit to Cochem taking in the castles, Sessel Bahn up the mounting, and visiting the local towns by boat. The Altes Winzerhaus is a fantastic place to stay, right along the side of the Mosel river where it is nice and quiet and a short 10 minute walk into town. The staff at the hotel are very...

We arrived on the bus from the Frankfurt Hahn airport so it didn't matter to us that the car park was in their other building (just 100 metres down the road). The owner spoke English and was very accommodating. He gave us a map of Cochem and helped us with directions. Our room was quite modern and very clean, with...
