We stayed in the new building of the hotel. It was an unusually large room and bathroom, that was immaculately clean! Great linens and beds too. In the evenings, we enjoyed wine on our patio that had a partial view of the castles. Their breakfast buffet was fabulous. Of our week spent in Germany and Switzerland, this was our favorite...

Everything was fine and the location/scenery was charming. I would definitely stay here again. Lovely evening and good sleep. Breakfast was delicious and they serve early (beginning at 7:30am) to accommodate travelers to the castle.

comfortable hotel with welcoming staff; I took advantage of their discounted tickets for the local swimming / spa centre (10 minutes' walk). The location was near the village centre but quiet - my top-floor room had nice views over the rooftops to the mountains beyond

A bavarian style accomodation, with carved timber beams and flowerpots on windows. The service is friendly and rooms are spacious, quiet and spotless. A perfect base for daily sightseeing trips and visits to abundant natural and historical points of interest.

Stayed her for 2 nights August 11th-13th 2014. This hotel has a large car park, beyond the car park and hotel itself is a pretty garden area with deck chairs facing the sun on a slopped area. The exterior of the hotel has pretty a facade, with wooden balconies filled with flowers. The hotels restaurant wraps around the first floor...

Stayed here in February. The hotel at this time of year is quiet but still with all facilities open. Bikes are available for hire, a restaurant is available and the bar stays open until people go to bed... Service was friendly, the staff speak some English but any attempt at German is greeted with patience and appreciation. The hotel itself...

Vacation driving (late) from Munich to Italy, this was an idyllic spot to rest and enjoy absolutely perfect German hospitality, while preparing for our long-planned visits to the nearby Neuschwantein & Hohenschwangau schlosses/castles! We were not disappointed. From the charming exterior adorned with many flowers, to their big comfortable guest rooms and uber attractive dining facilities, this was truly the...

I used this hotel on a night stop on my way to Austria and Italy, so I am not too sure of all the facilities that the hotel offers to the guest as I understand it is an hotel that cater mostly for tours, families and for long stay as the area is great. I know for a fact that...

We were in a group of 11 people and the universal consensus was that it's a great hotel as a base for our hiking/biking holiday. The rooms were spacious and warm with simple Barvarian decor. The highlight was the food in the hotel which served excellent Bavarian cuisine. We were there for 5 nights and each night we had a...
