This place was so cozy, and the management was a treat. I wish I knew his name, but from the moment we arrived to saying goodbye, he was very friendly. For dinner I had the deer and my boyfriend had the duck. SEHR LECKER. Breakfast was better than the average bread and spread German breakfast. This is just a small...

Location and cleanliness was ok. However, the size of the room was very small. I was charged extra for breakfast of my 4 yr old. It was not mentioned to me while booking the room (in the booking, the cost was inclusive of breakfast). I made the booking directly through the hotel reception. The coffee was served cold. And when...

This is no 5-star operation but then it doesn't pretend to be. We had second floor balcony rooms which were clean if a tad dated. Service from the one and only waitress at our evening meal could have been friendlier. We almost felt we were on the way! You will also find better food at a range of restaurants in...

We stayed 1 night at Pfrontener Hof in our trip from Netherlands to Croatia, and we chose this hotel for the proximity to the Neuschwanstein Castle that we wanted to see, and it did not disappoint. There is only a 15-20 min travel by car to the castle (tip: make sure you have a valid Austrian vignette since the road...

This hotel, when we first stayed, was excellent, but now standards seem to have slipped a little. It is still the charming, slightly old fashioned, place it always was, but the chef and evening waitress have changed, and not for the better. My wife's schnitzel was burned on one side (although, in justice, the cheese soup he did for me...

Two day stopover on journey down to Tuscany. Hotel long way out of town next to a ski "bubble" station. Rather basic but adequate room, breakfast ok, evening meal very basic and quite frankly we enjoyed a much better meal in the town centre. Would imagine that its a very popular place in the ski season, but had little to...

Spent one night here on a road trip around Europe with my husband and it was just what we needed. Comfortable bed and pillows, immaculately clean and friendly staff. Check in and out was simple, no fuss and the breakfast provided was yum! Will definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to other travellers in the area. A+

Me and my buddy stayed here when we were visiting Neuschwanstein Castle on a Roadtrip through Switzerland Germany and Austria. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was comfortable and warm. We had a comforting Bavarian feast in the evening and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Both of our favorite thing was the owner, he was incredibly...

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and been very pleased. We like quiet, family run places and this hotel could be described as "quaint". In November or so of last year, however, the family sold out to two gentlemen, one of whom is Chinese (I think he does front of house and the other does...

We stayed here for an overnight stay whilst travelling to Austria, the staff were very welcoming and polite. We decided to have a meal in the evening in the restaurant, the chef obviously knows how to put taste into food, very plentiful hearty grub!!
