This hotel is 1km from town. The rooms are a good size and most importantly they are quiet and the curtains are think so block out the light, which is important in summer as it gets light from 4.30am. We only stayed 1 night but it was a very enjoyable stay.

We had a very nice room here with balcony over looking the back garden. The room was big for Europe standards and the bathroom was modern. We only had breakfast in the Restaurant and drinks in the Bar. The wait staff were very attentive and the Hotel was very clean. The Hotel looks a little dated ,but its an interesting... More

Hotel has some nice atmosphere, even if it is a bit outdated. Staff was casually friendly, we had small argument but it was ok at the end. Hotel needs updating, desperately. Breakfast is below average as for Bavaria. Room was a bit cold.

A typical eighties hotel (or seventies?), but in a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by trees. Personnel at reception was friendly, the room functional and clean, just the shower needed an urgent overhaul to get rid of these impractical shower curtains. The breakfast was below the Bavarian average, but the all in all the price matched with the standard, so it... More

Location: The hotel is at a walkable distance from the city centre. From the railway station its better to take a cab (cost 8-9 EUR). Staff: The staff are helpful but they are not very english speaking. If you dont speak or understand German, it would be bit difficult. Room: The hotel is old and build in Alpine style, so... More

We were in Germany to see the Passion Play in Oberammergau in August and we had 2 nights in this hotel as part of our trip. On our first night we received an enitrely miserable, poor quality, badly cooked meal. In fact many of the guests on our tour could not finish theirs. The staff were at best rude. They... More
