Lovely Bavarian hotel. Room size is good but bathroom was fairly small as you stepped out of the shower & almost sat in the sink. Our shower head would not stay up but we mentioned it & was fixed straight away. Food was lovely not much to choose from but was good, they do have a couple of English menus which helped. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Wifi is just a hotspot in reception & not great. Massage chairs are free to use & a must they were a highlight. If you want to be closer to Berchtesgaden this is too far away but about a 15 minute walk to the lake. We was given a card in which we could use for a free bus into Berchtesgaden which was great & also got a discount for the bus to Salzburg costing only 5 euros per person for a return. We stayed here for 2 nights & had a…

Staff were super friendly and spoke great English. The hotel was stunning and really easy to find. Its really close to the Königsee, a walk or bike ride away. Hotel was clean and modern. They provide a pass which allows for half price parking and discounts at certain activities and locations.

Nearest stop Fischmichllehen (Bus 843). 15-20 minutes walk to Königssee. Guest cards available with deposit (for buses). Breakfast was good. Limited choice if you can't eat pork. Wifi only available in reception area, BUT massage chairs available for free!! Glad we stayed for two nights. Well, we really enjoyed our stay but there is still room for improvement. Thank you for the great view from room!

Hotel koppeleck is in located in the quiet area with the views of mountains. We liked our room which was on first floor in the front and we had a good view of mountains.Room was clean and spascious. Fischmichllehen bus stop is just a 5 min walk away. From Berchtesgaden hbf take bus 843 directly to the above bus stop.Bus 846 also stop at fischmichllehen but is not regular. On your arrival reception will give you the guest card which will help you to travel free on buses in the town and get discounts on some sights. Food and breakfast was good though menu was in german only. Somehow i feel this hotel is better for german speaking people as we really struggled in ordering the food as i mentioned before that menu was only in german and even wait staff also did not understand english.…

Loved our stay. The rooms aren't huge or very modern and the shower is a just a hand held. However it was quiet and the staff where efficient. Good breakfast and inexpensive stay. Really close to konigsee.

This place was ok basically for sleeping only. The food and waitstaff weren't great, sometimes I felt like they were yelling at me, not very accommodating. We drove to places and didn't bother with the bus. It has the potential for great views but the rooms don't seem to take advantage of them. Sitting in the lobby to use the wi fi which sometimes didn't even work got very old for my children and I. It just wasn't a good match for our wants and needs.

This hotel is located in a picturesque location in a quite area.It is little far from Konigsee lake. There is a bus stop, just 5 min away from the hotel. You can also take a cab from here and reach the lake in 10 min.Once we walked from the hotel to the lake.It took 45 min.We walked because we wanted to walk around the scenic serene mountains and experience its beauty. While coming back to the hotel we took a bus.Next day we took a cab not more than 10 euros. We had dinner and breakfast here. There are many options when it comes to breakfast.Dinner we had red sauce tomato pasta and yummy garlic soup.We liked the rooms very much.It was very clean and tidy.We could also view this gigantic mountain from our window. It was just amazing.Overall very good.

Pretty basic all round. Internet really needs sorting out though, we could barely make use of it even in the reception area where the signal is strongest. It was OK, but it was not great value as it cost the same as several other much nicer hotels we'd stayed at in the area on this trip. Needs refurbishing, feels a bit stuck in the 70s.

When we arrived at 18.00 the reception was empty, even though there was a sign that said that the reception was supposed to be manned at that time. After a while, we went to the restaurant, and got some help. The staff was not helpful at all, and as we were leaving for the room they made fun of us in German, not knowing that I have some basic understanding of German. We chose this hotel because it states that they have free WiFi. They do. With poor quality and ONLY in the lobby. The village is nice and the waiters at the restaurants are very nice. The rooms are ok, but the carpets in our two rooms had lots of stains. Otherwise it was clean.

This is an afforadable hotel at this location. About 2 km away from the Königsee. Staff is friendly, dinner is really nice. No other restaurant nereby. Rooms are old and not modern at all but clean and just good enough if youneed to stay somewhere. Perfect for a one night stay althought with family for vacation would rather go to a nicer one. Breakfast is typical, nice. The view from every room is very nice.
