This Outdoor Hotel in the middle of the beautiful bavarian nature offers you the best possibility to start for different adventures. In the sourounding area you can make tours with the mountain bike, trekking, snow shoe tours, canyoning or skiing. The beautiful lac ( a barrage lac ) Sylvenstein-Stausee is only 150 m away. The Hotel offers also the possibility...

While the waitress was very friendly almost everything else was disappointing. We ordered pretty quick something to drink but it took quite long until we had them. Nobody asked for a refill over the course of the next 2h. The food was below typical Bavarian standard and took 1h to arrive at our table. The Bavarian noodles were not fresh...

The rooms are a bit spartan and old-fashioned, but the location is nice. Breakfast is good, the remaining food could be better. One big downside is the very slow and unstable Internet connection. You even cannot log-in if too many people are using it at the same time.

I was here on a business trip and it is a good hotel for working meetings. The surroundings is nice with good hiking and outdoor activities around. Food is good, especially the breakfast. Lunch and dinner is typically buffet style. Some times it is better than others. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is included but slow and I...

We only stayed for one night, but were stunned by the friendly reception, how accommodating the hotel was to a last minute reservation change and how good dinner as well as breakfast was (a buffet with a wide selection of really good food). They have a huge selection of hikes and other activities to choose from. The rooms are nice...

Road tripping again and as usual far too late into the night and with heavy driving rain. Hadn't seen a light for miles and miles until suddenly encountered this hotel. It looks impressive and it is but what you get inside is a very straight forward honest clear cut service. It's somehow feels a bit hostel like in the room...

We had a relaxing weekend in this hotel. Our room was big and had a nice balcony. The structure itself is evidently not very new and would need some renovation (e.g. the window in our room did not close properly) but it is overall cosy. There are several angles equipped with sofas and armchairs where you can relax and a...
