The room was very clean but outdated and decorated in a style from 40 years ago. Like really, everything in the hotel is from 40 years ago. That said, it's quite clean and serviceable and quiet. The breakfast was lovely and served in a nice room.

This hotel is comfortable, it has nice rooms all in country style decorated but could be renovated. Staff is friendly and quick. Breakfast is satisfactory to start the day. The Schlosspark and The Friedenstein Castle is just a few steps far, location is perfect.

The hotel is very conveniently located between the main railway station and the centre of the old town. Both are in walking distance, though not with heavy luggage; taxis from the station cost €7. It is very close to the museums and overlooks the park. The hotel is spotless and the breakfasts excellent. The staff were always polite and helpful....

The rooms are quite big, the breakfast leaves nothing to wish for and the restaurant brings tasty food and beverages!! Nice place to stay. The city center is near and the wellness area is perfect to get rid of everyday stresses. The only thing missing is a pool, but instead there are many meeting rooms. I prefer to come here...

Nice property in a beautiful town. Located a 10 minute walk from the old town opposite the Palace Park. Free street side parking. Room spacious and well appointed. Classical decor. Breakfast buffet featured a huge variety of items. Big problem: large, noisy group on the hotel bar terrace below our room until 1 a. m. We had to close our...

A large hotel ideally located for discovering this lovely town. The decor was perhaps a little dated but well maintained. We ate in the hotel and the meal was very nice. The bedroom was a very good size and very comfortable. There is plenty of onsite parking though it’s not so easy to find. Probably the best selection for breakfast...

Smart, modern hotel, but family-run, and very pleasantly situated at the edge of the Schlosspark. Staff are efficient rather than warm, but we were well looked after, and enjoyed our spacious, airy and quiet room. Private parking for 7€ per day is available at the rear, but free street parking is also to be had at the front and rear....

We looked for a good starting point to visit Thüringer Wald as well as Erfurt and Weimar and were surprised at how much Gotha already offered. So we were happy to find this hotel. It is located walking distance from the city center and all of the tourist attractions. There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel. We...

We stayed here on Oct 8-9 and chose this place because it overlooks the palace garden. We came by train from Weimar around 2 in the afternoon and took a taxi to the hotel as we did not want to drag our bag for a kilometer. Just €7. Checked in to a lovely classy room and rushed off to the...
