This is a beautiful place with great room, staff, and a best location. Breakfast was amazing. wifi was consistent. I would stay at this place again if I ever go back to Bamberg. The parking is nearby. We had GPS, but we kept getting lost....

The hotel is located in the heart of all we wanted to see. The receptionist was so helpful and friendly (reception is a small desk in the back of the bar area). Showed us where to park (nearby), personally showed us to our room, and provided us with a map and several suggestions of places to visit. Room was clean...

The location is great, close to many restaurants, shops, the most famous brewery and the river. Our room was spacious, very well decorated and with a good and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was also very comfortable, with soft towels and an excellent shower. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drink. A plus was the bar, with a...

We just lucked upon this gorgeous hotel in Bamberg. It so suits the Village. Whilst having all modern conveniences and a wonderful little bar, it is simply a step back in time. Entry is via massive wooden doors from a narrow cobbled lane and the room and ensuite were both absolutely enormous. A piano played late into the night. There...

Right off the bat, I have to say the Palais gave us more memories, not to say post-mortem laughs than most hotels we've stayed at. To begin with, the main entrance is on a side street and the door and sign are not what you'd expect of a hotel, in that they are almost indiscernible. When you enter, you need...

We found this hotel by chance, and we were so happy we did. The room was clean, had high ceilings, and was probably one of the largest rooms we've ever had in Europe. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful - the guy working the desk the morning we left actually walked us to the place where our taxi...

The hotel is an old city palace in a very central location in the historic center of Bamberg. We had two giant rooms(just what you expect from an old palace). The staircases are old stone, the hotel oozes history and it has been tastefully renovated with a keen eye for all that is historic and original in the building. There...

This is a beautiful hotel in the old city. The room was excellent and very spacious. Great breakfast in the most beautiful room. There is no wifi in the rooms although it is stated that there is. The stay was however great!!

The wifi, or lack of it, really lets this hotel down. The only place we could get a reliable signal was in the bar. Apart from that, the room was comfortable. We booked a garden room because some reviewers said the main street could be noisy so we wanted to make sure our room was not in the front of...

We searched for a nice little hotel in the centre of this beautiful city. Everthing was beyond expected. Spacious rooms, a lot of flair and hyper-friendly staff, that helped a smuch as they could. The breakfast was full of different tastes .... Any time again! Thank you Palais Schrottenberg
