I am still waiting for my receipt from my stay last weekly, typically I get it straight away

The rooms were really warm, even on lowest setting it was still roasting

Other than this the visit was fine

I had one night at the hotel, it was a comfortable night but nothing special

The staff were friendly, it was clean and comfortable, nice new bathroom but only 2 rather small thin towels.

The bed was ok, fairly hard with a smallish duvet ... You wouldn't want to have to share it with anyone else!

There is a little gym with 2 treadmills
A sauna

Breakfast was good very similar to other German hotels

There is not much by way of hotels in Sindelfingen, but if you happen to be here for a day biz trip, the Mercure may be the few options you can take and sleep the night.

The room is interestingly colorful, I stayed on the RED floor, definitely not a room color I would pick to stay in after a long drive or work day... but its what we have.

the elevator is small and cramped and very old style, definitely could do with an upgrade.

the bathroom had a powerful hot shower, and may be that was all I needed, to get into a deep sleep.

some interesting bread and yoghurt options were good at breakfast, and coffee was surprisingly decent.

** Close to this hotel is a very nice restaurant - Milano ** ..... do visit this place

Dear huzefac, thank you very much for taking time to tell us about your experience to your stay with us. I will be sure to share your comments with my Team. We will gladly give you a room in a different color floor for your next stay. In addition to the two little older lifts can be found just a few meters behind a large elevator, which also goes to all floors. We look forward to your next visit. Best regards Mareike Eimert

The Sindelfingen/Boeblingen area is a mix of industrial, business, picturesque neighborhoods, and woodlands, yet in my two trips to the area in the past 4 months, I've been underwhelmed by the quality of the lodging choices in the area because it doesn't seem consistent w area's vibe. To be very clear, I'm not looking for a high end hotel, rather just something that doesn't disappoint on the delivery of the basics.

Room - average-to-small size living space and bathroom that also includes a functional workspace. My room was clean, but lacked an in-room iron/ironing board, which was quickly brought up when I called the front desk. I also found it odd that they did not supply wash cloths along w the hand and bath towels. The bed was very firm, almost to the point that it created a hostile rather than welcoming environment, and my two (almost) sleepless nights leaves me at a loss for words to explain it. My insomnia also validated that this hotel, situated about a block of Sindelfingen's main thoroughfare at the edge of a very nice residential neighborhood is extremely quiet. Had the bed even been moderately comfortable, I may have slept through my alarm and missed my customer appointments both days :)

Lobby / Restaurant - The staff is was extremely courteous and responsive, so kudos to the staff and leadership team. The restaurant was nicely appointed, and I enjoyed a nice breakfast both mornings, however I do not believe that it was worth the 19 euros that I was charged. I would agree that it shouldn't be free as it would drive up the room's base cost, however I think that 10 euros would be a fair price for the variety and quality of the food.

Internet - I don't know if the Mercure charges for internet access because my two night stay was part of a negotiated corporate rate, but if they did, they should rebate it. The inconsistent connectivity, and low speeds are just unacceptable.

In summary, if they would just solve the rock hard bed issue, the overpriced breakfast, and connectivity issues, I'd wholeheartedly agree that this is the #4 hotel in the area, but until those issues are addressed, it simply isn't worth it.

Dear jefftrbo, thank you very much for your comment and your stay at our hotel. We really appreciate your good experience with our staff and we will forward it to our team. Unfortunatly, we were not able to give you a good night sleep in our modern, 22 sqm wide hotelroooms due to your sentiment of the hard bed issue. We will be working on a solution to provide guests with the preference of a softer bed with a softer mattress. Regarding your concern about the connectivity of our free Wifi we experienced some issues with the external provider. We would be happy to give you another chance to test our Service of High End Wifi with glass fibre connection. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast with the great choice of regional hot products and cold cuts, the fresh bakery and pastry and its selection with 8 diferent juices, besides the regular chocie of cereals and sweets. We are looking forward to welcome you again in our homelike hotel. Best regards Nicolas

On a recent Europe trip, this was by my far my least favorite hotel. Why?

The WiFI did not work and the receptionist said it was that was for 2-3 days already. She tried to blame the provider, but their overall status was 'up.' They would not provide a cable, so despite 'Internet access' being blasted all over, there was zero access provided. This caused me not to get some work done and to go over data on my phone and the hotel didn't care.

-Breakfast is expensive. And lacks hot options. The scrambled eggs were long gone when I went to eat at 0930 (breakfast goes to 1000).

-Parking is EUR14 and that is not necessary as it a suburban area

-Hotel is super unattractive from the exterior. A little paint would go a long way.

Would I return to this hotel should I find myself here? Never. And advise you book elsewhere too.

Price is high for small size of room which barely fits 2 people with luggage. Management would not discuss or return calls about it's cancellation policy. Fitness room is subpar. Only breakfast option is very expensive.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever experienced. The room smelt horrible, the bed was tilted at an angle, the shower head did not work, the heat didn't work and the reception desk either failed to wake me up as requested or would wake me up 30 - 45 minutes late. Unfortunately, there is not one good comment that I can think of for this hotel. I would definitely spend your money somewhere else.

Dirty and lacking in customer service. Had to wear my shoes in the room for fear of disease. Also poor maintenance with the door having to be jerry-rigged to open. They don't give you enough towels.
Also was charged 19euros for a breakfast that was supposed to be included. Terrible customer service.

The hotel met my expectations as a middle class business hotel.
Service was very friendly and staff was very helpfull. In room WIFI was fast and reliable.
Rooms are modern but relatively small. Would recommend to ask for a room towards the more quite back of the hotel (away from the main street). Walking distance to the local mall.
