We stayed here from Easter Monday for 4 nights in a pet friendly studio. The park is situated perfectly between Scarness and Torquay and literally 5 minutes walk to the beach and esplanade. The studio is clean and basic but did what we needed and was exactly what we expected based on the photos. Friendly staff and very helpful. Great games room for kids and adults with a free arcade game, table tennis and pool table and yes (groan) free wifi to keep them entertained when real play isn't enough! We didn't use the outside kitchen but there was a pizza oven and all kitchen facilities available for campers to use. We really liked the security of the gates closed at night fairly early on and until quite a decent time in the morning.
Dog friendly beaches 10 minutes walk away which was great and the small cleaning fee of $30 to bring our pup was well worth it. She had a great time and enjoyed meeting lots of other dogs during her stay.

The park served it's purpose. Due to covid we had to change our travel plans. Booked 2 nights for 2 vans. Staff very helpful, amenities weren't cleaned too well, and abit outdated. Only one clothes dryer and always someone waiting to use it. Games room and kitchen well equipped, gas pizza oven, pool table, arcade game and TV. The park needs a face lift, and the spots are very hard to get vans into. Ours is 24' including draw bar and it took abit. Location is fantastic, walking distance to town and an amazing fish and chip shop (Maddigans) around the corner. Not alot of room to swing in. But like I said, it served it's purpose.

Our first night on our road trip was Hervey Bay and the lady was so helpful to help us out for a night as it was last minute.
The location and amenities was perfect👌🏼

Hervey Bay is a must see place..
The park is one of the best I’ve seen in ages, wait to you see the slippery slides..
Thank you! 😊

Staff members were extremely helpful, the room was nice although we were only provided one blanket for 3 guests. But our dog was attacked, unprovoked, on the deck of our cabin by a huge, uncontrolled dog from a caravan near us. Management was told, and nothing was done whatsoever. The dog was continuously walked past our cabin, making us fear for our dogs safety whenever she had to go outside to do her business. Management was again contacted after we had left, and has absolutely no remorse for what happened, or allowing the other dog to continue staying at the park. Do not bring your animal or small shildren here, as management doesn't care about keeping control of it's guests, animal or human

We received a phone call from a lady who said her dog, a german shepherd, had been in an altercation with another one, and that a young girl was walking it and was unable to control it. Following her description we were able to talk to the owner of the dog immediately and request that the young girl does not walk the dog in the park and it should be only walked by its male owner. The lady on the phone did not suggest at the time that the situation was that serous and said it was just for our information. Hence after speaking to the dog owner we thought the situation was dealt with. Furthermore we would like to add that the dog in question has never been involved in an incident before and always wears a muzzle within the park as he was on this occasion.

Booked a cabin for 2 nights. On arrival at the prearranged time we could not access the property with a vehicle for several hours due to maintenance being conducted on the gate. Parked a block away and dragged our suit cases through the neighbourhood.

The cabins have very little to offer. To avoid a $50 cleaning fee guests on departure are required to wash and put away all dishes but they do not provide dish washing liquid or tea towels. We used a bath towel to dry dishes.

They do not provide hand soap or hand sanitiser and in this pandemic it is an essential. As a matter of concern this review has been passed to QLD Health for their information.

An observation for those bringing vans onto the site. Space is very tight with only one entry/exit gate. This concern will be passed onto the Hervey Bay council as it severely restricts access to guests and emergency services when required in an emergency. Further, The tightness of access and egress will restrict fire services when needed.

Dogs are not permitted in cabins but roam freely around the park unattended. Be careful where you step.

Reception hours are promulgated but not adhered to.

Would I stay here again. Absolutely not. There is clearly an issue with management and their ability to provide the necessary service to guests.

When we arrived at our room, the bed was almost impossible to sleep on with springs digging into our backs. Zero padding. Both myself and my partner woke up with awful back pain after only maybe 4 hours total of sleep. Our towels had yellow stains all over them (Gross). The bathrooms were foul, 5 out of the 6 stalls were clogged and unusable, the showers were dirty and stank. We ended up staying only 1 night out of our expected 6 due to needing to leave for an emergency. Went to see reception in the morning around 10, doors were locked and nobody was there. Returned about an hour or so later to find staff inside chatting but the doors still locked. Once we were let in, We let them know we needed to leave and asked about any options regarding a refund for the 5 nights we were no longer able to stay for. We were told because we booked online they couldn't do anything. Staff generally weren't bothered about anything or our situation, not very helpful. We contacted our online booking platform 10 minutes later for said refund and they said they would help and they just need to contact Top Tourist parks. They then put us on hold and called TTP to which there was no response. We then received an email from booking site stating the request had been denied by Top Tourist Parks. In the circumstances I think this is just poor customer service. We stayed 1 night out of 6 and weren't able to receive any form of compensation. Generally dissatisfied and won't be returning.

I turned up with my family after confirming my booking the week before and they did not have a booking for me! The last said their was nothing they could do but ring somewhere else! It was late and raining. Lucky for me Trent from Hervey Bay Caravan Park found me a lovely cabin. If staying at the Fraser Coast Park I would confirm my booking several times otherwise you might be “lost” or as I was told “people make mistakes”. Doesn’t help when you have a 12 week old baby and nowhere to stay!

NOT LOST, NEVER BOOKED! Your booking was no where on our system and therefore we could not have confirmed it. You actually said you only booked it 6 days previously which was not even a week before so how could we have confirmed it the week before. We send out booking confirmation and take 1 nights deposit at the time of booking and as you did not receive confirmation nor did we take a deposit you actually never made a booking with us. At no time did staff say there had been a mistake, but offered to help you by ringing around. We actually phoned Trent and found you the accommodation. There are 15 caravan parks in Hervey Bay, people often get bookings mixed up. You had no proof of the booking at all, but still we went out of our way to help, yet you still feel the need to review us negatively!

Rooms are a disgrace run down dirty, dog hair all over the blankets, microwave rusted, air-conditioning was smelly and struggling to work clearly filters have not been cleaned for sometime. I took photos of the filth in this place. Looks great online in the photos realality I wouldn't take my dog there. Smelt like urine. The upstairs units no sound proofing and people yelling in some sort or domestic situation. No staff to nip it in the bud. Do not stay here.
Great location bed was comfortable if you like someone's dog hair all over you.
Unit had queen bed and bunks if ya had a family... but no door on the bathroom so better have a close family to stay here. 1 out of 10 is generous its a dump. Power point hanging off the wall. Unsafe. Photos speak for themselves.

We had booked into the studio cabin for a 1 night stay due to a last minute family affair and thought that the room would be sufficient for the 1 night stay. As soon as we opened the door the stench of cigarette smoke smacked you in the face. Unfortunately despite all my efforts to find different accommodation that afternoon, it was too late and we had to endure the night. Needless to say all our items smelt of cigarette smoke and we will not be recommending or staying at this park again!!

Small sites,Sunday difficult to access the reception as was closed most of the day.No response to intercom, only to a phone call.
Never again, only suitable for small vans.Despite booking, the comment was you may need to go somewhere else,as the only available site maybe too small.
Thus grey water was uphill to the drain, thus we placed it on the grass.
