A very nice little resort on Fiji's Coral Coast. I stayed in one of the 3-bed villages (1 queen-sized and 2 small ones). The location is hidden in a quieter part of the Coral Coast tourist belt, but you can easily access shops, restaurants, and other hotels either by walking, bus ride, or taxi. It also has a nice little beach. Staff are very helpful and because it is a small resort you get a friendlier service than most of the bigger resorts. A public bus service runs past the resort every 30 minutes and you can hop in to get to Sigatoka Town which is a 5-10 minute drive away.

We just stay there for 1 night but its was awesome.
The staff is so friendly and helpful, welcome drink, and get room after our visit in the Kula Wild Adventure Park, my recommendation for you, its 15 min for a walk. Democratic prices in restaurant, bar. Big swimming pool.
Wi-fi working only in the bar area. Nice view from bungalow on the sea coast. Room have 2 floors, 3 beds. Little kitchen, big bathroom. All is ok, good place. 150$ for 1 night, breakfast included.

We have been to this beautiful place a couple of times.Love the scenery. Love the staff's.Very friendly with beautiful smiles. The villas are nice and cozy blending in with the warm weather. The restaurant looks alright. The meals,it's a little bit different from the last time we were here.Prefer the previous menus.Just our main concern is this very young(indo)lady whom we thought had cleaned our room, apparently she did only half.We were at the car park,we saw her come out of our room with the cleaning materials. It infuriates us to see our curtains not drawn, room not swept and our bed not done like it was always done by the previous maids.Well she needs to be trained. But,this lady named Sai did our room the next day.She did a good job just like we wanted and to our surprise we met and old staff who has been and still in the resort, Anna..we would take our hats off for this hardwoking lady, always smiling.Well we Love the pool and the beach front.Front office staffs very lovely people with warm welcomes. This is the perfect place to come for a holiday. We are definitely returning with our families.Keep up the good work team Crows Nest and hoping to meet the Manager on our next visit.

Terrible place to stay. Might have been good in the 80ies or so when it has been built, but now the place is decadent and desolated. Virtually everything in the room was broken or missing: we even had a camping light in the bathroom to “make up” for the broken lights there. The dinner was surprisingly good (the food). Breakfast was a joke with literally noone asking us if we wanted to order or have a coffee despite having 6-8 members of the staff right there having the own breakfast and walking around… really: location is good but place needs serious renovation and change in management

Over a 23 year period I’ve eaten at the Crows Nest restaurant. The service was generally good but it always took a lengthy time for the food to come out of the kitchen even if you were the only table being served. Understanding that there was a new chef and new menu we took our family visiting from the USA to dinner. The service was good and the food came from the kitchen in an acceptable time. Then everything fell apart. One order of Chicken and Fettuccine was an insult to both the chicken and the fettuccine. Inedible! One order of mystery fish was inedible. Another order was Chicken Parmigiana. Why it was called parmigiana is again another mystery. The taste was awful! Also, It’s the first time that we’ve ever had broken glass mixed in with the food! These three main courses were returned to the kitchen. The fourth dish that was ordered, prawns with rice was okay and edible and was paid for. The owner of the Crows Nest Resort, Mr Hamid Ali, also owner of the Amalfi Restaurant in Port Denerau, and also owner of Caskade Catering in London which owns numerous KFC franchises
had a menu that leaned toward pasta dishes and the pasta’s were imported from Italy. The menu and food at that time was good though inconsistent. Sadly, hotel management changes frequently as does the chef and kitchen and service staff, again leading to inconsistent service, quality and presentation. Hopefully, things will improve but I’m not holding my breath.

Checked in with Family on Dec23.
Overall experience wouldn't recommend to anyone.

1. The "included" breakfast was bad, had to pay to get a good meal.

2.Lady Duty manager very rude. No people skill.

3. No wifi in room.

4.No internet reception.

5. Lovely staff though, poor management.

One of the best curries that I’ve tasted. Great views and nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wine list was interesting and nicely priced. A great find in this part of Fiji where generally food is pretty average. Highly recommended

I will start with the positive ones, the staffs are the saviour for this resort except one the young Indian lady at the reception, she’s not worth being standing behind this counter. Myself working for a resort 5 stars to be precise, I find it very disgraceful that the GM is never there. Secondly the breakfast very cold and minimal. Third the pool need some safety because it bloody slippery. My kids fall down twice and hurt themselves. No emergency kit in the kitchen near the pool which is another disgraceful thing. Who the hell is running this resort. Give these people some customer service. Smiling and being kind is good working in a resort but these girls need supervision and a good training. But I would like to say that Lucie Casey Vini Vinaka the Indian lady who did my room and two other lady in the housekeeping were the one who stand out even though they still need some training but they know how to react. But I would fire the Indian lady at the reception. I came to book a cruise from her and this lady doesn’t know how to deal and told me to wait for Lucie. When Lucie came back I went back to talk with her and she start laughing. I should ask her why she’s laughing. Do I look stupid. If you were one of my staff you will have a written warning on the spot. I’m very disappointing for paying a whopping $6319 for 8 nights ( including flights and breakfast for this).NOT WORTH IT. It’s a lot of money.
And to finish it off upon my check out my $100 bond wasn’t return to me. When I was back in Sydney I realised I left it behind so I email the GM which of course may be out of town as usual never reply back. Lady if you don’t know how to run a resort don’t run it.
It’s overpriced, the room even though they said had been updated, it’s laughable. The shower is like a tube seriously who the heck design this and who the heck accepted that.
I like Fiji I like the people but to stay At Crows Nest again never in my dream. Maybe some people find it lovely and convenient for them but for me it was a 0 star maybe only a 1 star.
Am a very disappointed customer and I want to know if I will get my $100 bond back.
Thank you
Maria

Stayed at Crows Nest last night. Staff very friendly and honest... Thanks Rafiq and the front office girls (2 indian and the short itaukei lady ) ... However I was amazed how locals are treated by the GM who really seemed high headed and with no etiquette... Booked room for 3 people but without my consent they upgraded me to a Villa which can accommodate 2 people only. Upon asking the GM tells me they were out of rooms so that's why she upgraded... Created a big commotion when my Friends came over and the GM started interrogating them... Upgrading my room without my consent is not really a customer's problem... Then it took 15-20 minutes for us to get to our room as the keys were no where to be found... GM acted and talked as if it's a 5 star resort with the negative attitude and body language portrayed... Never going back to this place... Been to other 5 star and resorts with low star ratings as well but the warmth and bula spirit and the welcome gesture is there... The arrogant so called GM had spoiled our new years eve....!!! Please learn to treat locals with the same treatment that's given to tourists.. We at the end of the day pay the same rates... Vinaka!!!

G'day Mate, pool is a large one for a hotel, about 20m x 10m. We did not ask about kayaks or snorkelling gear sorry. But a lovely place nevertheless.
