Cannot recommend this beautiful slice of heaven enough. Surely the only place to stay when visiting the coral coast. Friendly, informative hosts and the villas are super clean with everything you need and views to die for. Thankyou both for making a memorable holiday - Steve and Dawn

My wife and I stayed for our first couple of nights in Fiji following an extremely long series of flights. They organised our taxi pick up from the airport and welcomed us very warmly on our arrival. We were shown to our lovely ocean view studio and given all sorts of advice for local restaurants and places of interest. The pool area was great and the whole place was very relaxed, exactly what we needed. Most importantly, given the Rugby World Cup final was taking place during our stay, the hosts invited me to join them in their residence to watch it with them. A lovely gesture and they remained hospitable even though the All Blacks were edged out (sorry Warren). Great coffee place a short cycle away (free bikes available) and at least three lovely restaurants within walking distance. This isn't a big flash resort hotel. It is a relaxed, family owned place hosted by lovely people who will do all they can to make your trip enjoyable. Thanks so much Warren, Ros and Team.

A fantastic boutique hideaway, extremely peaceful and relaxing yet convenient with the airport just an hour's drive away. I stayed in the tree top room which was just wonderful, sights and sounds of the sea and wind in the trees day and night. Lovely private balcony which catches the afternoon sun. There are a couple of wonderful beach shack style restaurants a short walk away and a great coffee shop equidistant in the other direction. Kiwis Rosalind and Warren own and run the place and take exceptional care of the grounds and guests alike. Highly recommended for any trip to this part of Fiji.

Did not enjoy. Left after two nights but paid for 5. Is not a “resort” as advertised online, just a little place with a few rooms. Nice pool but nothing else going for it. No access to food and water on site or any entertainment. Poor wifi. Very limited facilities, beach across the road is not a swimming beach and very limited snorkeling. No kids activities or playgrounds as advertised and no buffet breakfasts as claimed. Very leaky shower with low water pressure.

We spent two nights here at Kaila Na Ua at the beginning of a Fiji holiday. Our hosts, Roz and Warren, are so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The weather wasn't the best during our stay so we didn't get to try out the pool which looked so inviting. The local bars and restaurants are only a short walk away and the service and food are very good. The amenities in our room were just what we needed, the room was clean and the gardens were truly beautiful. Next time we will definitely stay more than two nights!!

Vinaka for your beautiful comments. We really enjoyed having you stay here at Kaila Na Ua Resort. The weather wasn't very settled but you made the most of it by having a massage, reading books and enjoying the down time away from your busy lives. We look forward to you staying again and definitely for more than two nights!!! Vinaka Vakalevu Ellie and Gerry. Sota Tale!

Fantastic little boutique resort, wonderful hosts and staff, couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely come back again. We were there for our wedding anniversary and had done a day trip, upon our return the bottle of champagne we had bought was on ice in a bucket waiting for us along with lovely rose petals and specially crafted swan towels on our bed. Such a beautiful touch.

Well what can we say. Our stay was absolutely delightful. Ros and Warren are such wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They booked the trips we wanted to go on and helped us to find our way around Fiji without hesitation and always with a smile. Our accommodation was very comfortable, clean and fresh. Every day we were offered a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, cereal and toast if we wanted it. We both spent a lot of time around the pool which is stunning, reading and having a glass of wine or two. The local restaurants were great places to eat and drink. The outlook from our deck is stunning looking over the pool, coconut palms and well established trees with beautiful bird song to the crystal clear ocean. We would highly recommend Kaila Na Ua Resort (Roar of the Waves) for your stay in Fiji. Thank you again Ros and Warren for your wonderful hospitality. John and Steph Barrett

Bula John and Steph! You as guests were also absolutely delightful making our role as hosts so much easier. It was a pleasure to see you enjoy the resort's facilities-enjoying a date night movie in our Reef Lounge most nights and in the pool-floating and reading a book in our new lilos. Thank you for choosing Kaila Na Ua Resort as your Fiji destination. We will see you and your family again very soon. Vinaka and Sote Tale -see you again soon. Warren and Roz

Perfect for those like us who prefer a quieter place to stay. Hosts Roz and Warren were super friendly and kudos to the whole team for such well presented grounds and rooms - we particularly loved the pool, and the view of the sea from our verandah (we stayed in the beachside Bure - highly recommended). It was good to have the option to self cater but with excellent food options nearby, we generally ate out. Great snorkelling just over the road at high tide. Limited wifi - I understand there is a solution for this but it didn’t work for us (user error?) All up a great place for us to start our short Fijian holiday.

Thanks to Warren & Rosalind and their beautiful resort for a wonderful stay. This was our first stop in Fiji and it was a really nice first impression. The resort is best for those who prefer a more intimate venue in a more natural setting (vs a big resort). It is on a hillside, so wifi is weak, but really well appointed with clean bathrooms and a nice kitchen. The beach is across the street and easy to access. We'd also very highly recommend the Beach Bar & Cafe about a 5-minute walk east at the end of the road. Rosaline and Warren were excellent hosts and the kind of people you'd love to have a beer with and swap stories. Vinaka Vakalevu.
