As we got stranded on the A7 highway, we had to stay the night in Montélimar. The first hotel we walked in to did not only have a room available, but also welcomed our little dog. The room was neat and tidy and the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast "petit dejeuner" the next morning can be better called a "grand petit dejeuner", because it was in buffet style with fruit, yoghurt, eggs etc. Because we were going home with a rental car, we asked if they perhaps had an old towel which we could use for the backseat for our dog. No problem and they would not accept any payment for it. We fully recommend a stay at this lovely hotel in this middle age little town!
Very good place for stay a night on the way to the south ( or north). Lovely rooms, helpful manager and in the middle of town with parking space, perfect combination. Close to the motorway and Shoppingcenter. Eating out in Restaurant Marrakech, book a table in advance, 5 minutes by feet from Hotel du Parc.
We were looking for an overnight stay in the area, close to a town or city centre and with parking. The location of this hotel is ideal, and it was easy to drive to from the N7. Parking is available in a garage behind the hotel for 7 euros a night, which is very reasonable. The park opposite is very popular with locals and had a great early evening buzz, and the pedestrianised compact centre is about 100 yards away, with plenty of options for snacks or meals. Montélimar's centre was pleasant to walk round, and the Saturday market was interesting. I looked at the room options and chose a Delicatesse - one level up from the smallest on offer. I dread to think how anything could be smaller than the Delicatesse! It served its purpose for an overnight sleep, and the shower was adequate, but this was a basic and small room/shower room. Anyone with wide hips might have struggled to get past the hand basin to the toilet! The positives were the staff, both the receptionist and the man overseeing the breakfast. Breakfast was served in the very pleasant dining room, and was a reasonable spread. No frills, and no lift, but it served its purpose! Negatives were the difficulty / impossibility of getting wifi and the compactness of the rooms.p…
This hotel is a small hotel in the city center of montelimar, perfect located, internet is good, my room was not very big but inside there were everything i need, tv, ac, wifi... the ambience inside is very warm, i liked it
We were for business few days in France. The only reason choosing this hotel is because it is pretty close to the station, but that is the only advantage. The owner is VERY unfriendly. One afternoon there was nobody at the desk and I wanted to confirm the breakfast. Found the owner at the back kitchen where he started shouting at me that he don't want to be disturbed. Before I could say anything he shut the door in my face. Also the WIFI is not working. Little bit at reception but nothing in the rooms. At check out he also charged us for a breakfast we did not have. Once again he lost his temper. We stayed in 5 other hotels and no further problems! So when going to Montelimar there is another Hotel just about 200m down the road. My email adres pierre@koopak.co.za. I hope the owner reads this, as we also wrote in the guest book. But he torn the page out so that no one can see how terrible this hotel is now. The rooms and bathrooms are very tight. Pierre Burger South Africa…
