This chalet no longer lives up to the poor reviews previously written. It's good value and does everything it advertises. It's definitely worth it's 4 chalet stars (not to be compared with 4 stars in city hotels). Plenty of space, good food, warm showers, nice hosts. Room 10 is under the eaves, the beam is about 168cm, so no problem...

Family ski holiday with 3 kids in February 2017. Chalet Monet is on 3 floors with most bedreooms on first and second floor. Chalet holds about 20 people. The doors no longer slam, the hot tub and sauna are a bonus. We went with Ski Total and for around £600/person with flights this was great value. WIne fair, food excellent...

This chalet has everything that you really need on a ski holiday but is in need of a but of a makeover. The rooms are comfortable and warm with an adjoining shower / bathroom. Water is hot but be careful as sometimes it can come out very hot and could burn as i found out!! There are 2 living areas...

We visited this chalet over New Year. There were around 22 of us for most of the week so we had the chalet to ourselves. We had a great time but this was largely due to the staff. The reception rooms are spacious but bedrooms small. Decor is basic at best with slapdash painting, wires and pipes on full view...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent experience in the Chalet Monet, the contents of which has been noted and highlighted to the resort management team in Les Gets. What you get is a modern chalet - almost chalet/hotel - with varied room sizes. If you want a traditional chocolate box chalet it's not for you. If you want clean rooms with a reasonable amount of storage in most then it's OK. The lounge and dining areas are spacious and modern. They have tiled floors and no sound deadening...

Hi Graham, As a previous Ski Total guest, we're sorry to learn that you did not rate this holiday as highly as others you've taken with us. We will consider your feedback on our food when we come to plan our menus for another season. Nonetheless, we're glad that you felt well looked after by our staff.

I read some of the reports below and was concerned so let me address each point: - The bed: 5 foot king (measured). We are not small and it was more than comfortable so I am not sure what people expect from a double bed? - Soap: company policy and I get that; we tend to take our own as...

Very basic chalet without atmosphere. Tired and small rooms. Our shower holder was broken so would spray water all over the bath if turned on full. Also we had to ask for soap to be put in the bathrooms! The company line on this is, 'we don't put out soap in case the kids try to eat it'. I have...

Rather basic chalet despite rating, no alpine atmosphere, small rooms, double bed very small, but worst of all were the dreadful heavy hinged squeaking and banging doors which could be heard throughout the chalet whenever anyone was going around, especially on dining room floor so was woken up very early every morning. Hot water ran out by 6pm on a...

We're sorry that the chalet was not to your liking and that the closing of doors caused you disturbance. You are quite right that we do offer a choice of dishes at dinner in our Chalet Hotels compared to a chalet which offers a set dish, but I can confirm that our complimentary wines are identical in both. Thank you...

A perfectly serviceable chalet, clean, warm and just a short walk from the slopes. Chalet staff were all lovely and nothing was a problem. Food was hearty and tasty. Rooms were on the small side but that wasn't a priority. Would recommend for a ski holiday.
