The Christiania is an excellent hotel, John Nicola and their staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms are nice and the food is of a very high standard. A great base for a family holiday. Lots to do in the area, the multi pass is great value for money. July 1st for a week.

Christiania really punches above it's weight with quality of the food, especially dinners, the value you get for the rates, and the brilliant ski-in location. The team are really well managed and do a great job in looking after everyone. We were accommodated off site in an apartment over the road, using the hotel for meals and hot tubbing. The...

We stayed here late March for a spring ski vacation. The hotel is right next to the lifts and very close to the Main Street of Les Gets. The rooms are pretty simple and small bathrooms but all in all comfortable. Nice public areas to sit around. Very friendly staff who worked in dining room and around the hotel. We...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Had been three years ago and enjoyed it as much second time round. Food was excellent, staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a perfect location to slopes, ideal with children especially not having to walk in all the ski gear.

The Christiania is for me one of the best positioned hotels in the Alps, the slopes are right by the door so none of that awful trudge across the village in ski boots balancing a set of skis on your shoulder! The food has improved a lot over the years as have the levels of service. And as a bonus...

We arrived to a friendly welcome from Derek, and this is was to set the tone of our week in the hotel. The whole of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, no request was too much for them. We like our food and good restaurants and the usual expectation for a skiing holiday is of "ok" food at best....

If you like your food & location is important then this is the hotel for you. Food exceeded our expectations it was excellent and the hotel has a very nice dinning room. Location, you can't get much near the main lift than this. Staff friendly. Rooms - depends which one you have, ours was nice and had been modernised but...

We stayed at the Hotel Christiania during February half term and had a wonderful week. The hotel is ideally situated, very clean, warm and friendly. We stayed in quad room number 22 which we had read was very small. The room though was perfectly adequate and had plenty of storage. The food is of a consistently high quality. The restaurant...

Thankfully first impressions can be deceiving, because ours were terrible: a reception piled high with suitcases, indifferent staff, not even a "bonjour"... It took our speaking to three people until someone found our reservation, but then things did get much, much better. Yes, our family room was a tight squeeze and the bathroom was tiny. There was one evening we...

Although we were not actually staying at the hotel, we were helped by the manager when our airport transfer did not turn up. Nothing was too much trouble, really friendly and courteous. He helped us get to the airport and did not have to do so. Lovely, welcoming hotel, full of character and great location, right by the ski slopes.
