I have stayed at La Brunerie hotel just for one night and I got a great deal which included dinner and breakfast.
All cooks are Italians, therefore get ready for Italian pasta and deserts. I was very happy with food quality for the price I paid. Also, hotel is ready to accommodate your needs, i.e. I had to take an early flight and breakfast was served at 6.30 per my request.
There is an indoor pool and a patio where you can relax after going for a swim. There is also a bar with a terrace, open every day till 11 pm.
There is a game room with a pool table.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
Room had everything I needed, including bathtub and heated towel racks in the bathroom for drying gear after a day of snowboarding. Windows are soundproof, therefore you don’t need to worry about the noise.
The room was very neat and clean.
Someone was always at the reception desk 24/7, so I didn’t have to worry about coming back late/ leaving early.
Very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a central location and doesn’t want to spend a ton of money.

We came here for a week I’m a little disappointed As I contacted the hotel before to tell them it was my other halfs birthday so could we have a nicer room if possible . They said that they would try, upon arrival the young chap at reception had said he had given us a better room and we were on the top floor - well our room was over the top of the kitchen so we had the extractor fan start early in the morning and till quite late in the evening the room was tiny no fridge not even a phone for reception so couldn’t contact them . Room was a bit tired could do with a lick of paint and some upgrades in the bathroom. Very basic . So disappointed after I had asked for something bit nicer for my other half. Staff were friendly breakfast was OK . However dinner was exceptional ! It is a shame that the hotel is tired as the dinner is like something out of a top London restaurant really delicious food loads of variety super attentive staff I really cannot fault there dinner ! We used the pool which again is very tired and needs some upgrades the sauna is tiny and really cannot sit more than 3 this hotel needs a bit of a revamp for the price unfortunately the fabulous dinners do not just sell it

We booked a weeks holiday through Crystal Ski having had an awful experience with Inghams. We cannot fault the reps, they were attentive and gave plenty of information in the welcome talk. They were always on site and would come back to you with answers to questions they didn't immediately know. The comment about the drop off location is correct, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the hotel but it's on a flat pavement which is cleared of snow so not difficult to navigate!

The staff at the hotel were lovely and really welcoming. The check in was smooth and uneventful.

The food at the restaurant is great! Always a vegetarian alternative available and good wine included. Breakfasts were great to with lots of options. Never a huge rush, the food was restocked quickly and everything was kept clean and tidy!

Our room was at the back of the hotel and was lovely and quiet. Decent size room to. Bathroom was clean and we were lucky to have a bath as well as a shower!

We used the sauna and swimming pool. That was welcome after a long cold day on the slopes. Free towels are available in the reception area.

Big boot and board room available to use on the ground floor and only a short walk to the gondola.

The resort itself is very nice, the red frog and the polar bear bar are great! Edina's cafe is amazing for vegetarian and vegan food! Would definitely recommend their waffles!

Thanks to Johannes and Eric for the music quiz on our last day! It was hilarious! Even better as we won second prize! :)

Staying at this hotel ruined our holiday. The food is poor, the ingredients are low quality, the salad bar is good but the nice dishes run out early, the main courses are a joke, during a 7 night stay there were only 2 nights when a meat option was served, there were no potatoes, chips, rice or noodles just pasta every night. Dessert was Angel Delight or cheap flan. There is no wine or beer included as per previous season reviews, only tap water is available. On the whole the restuarant staff ignore you and there is no interaction. Even the coffee machine is blocked off in the evening and can only be used at breakfast time (take your own teabags if you want English breakfast tea at breakfast).

The pool is small and the sauna is cold. You can book a 1 hour slot, private usage for your party if there is availability, facilities only open between 3 and 7pm.

The rooms are OK for a family, 2 single beds plus bunk beds in the hall for the kids. Rooms are warm but everything is basic, old pine furniture. Toilet is separate from bathroom and doesn't have a sink. Room was cleaned daily and bedding and towels changed once per week.

Ski locker facilities would be excellent if the lockers could be locked. There is an individual locker for each room in the locker room, each locker has a boot heater rack for your group to their dry boots.

Hotel is in good location for resort centre and slopes, there is a supermarket next door. As an aside, the main outdoor pool and ice rink in the resort (that used to be free with lift pass) are currently closed. Very disappointing and not obvious on the Internet!

If there was an option for no score then I would have chosen that so unfortunately I have to give them a 1!
On arrival we were Allocated a room on the third floor with black mould on the ceiling! The start of things to come!
Breakfast served til 9.30 but if you are down around 9am be prepared for cold scraps!
Although a Crystal holiday we haven’t seen or heard from a Crystal representative, so you are left with unhelpful and miserable looking staff!
If you want a towel change, you need to pay 5 euros for the privilege and don’t expect a bedding change either!
Evening meals are gross so we ate out the 7 nights we stayed! Plus no gluten free options.
Also if you are looking for 50 year old adults that are going through mid life crisis that want to slam doors and party in their rooms then this is the place for you! Again uninterested in resolving any complaints. More like a cheap hostel than a hotel.
Just wish there was room at the Aalborg hotel for our stay!

We are a family of 4 and I follow a plant based diet. I wasn't hopeful of being catered for as I've been to France before but the hotel were great about it. Every day you are asked to pick your dining time (6.30pm or 8pm) and write next to your room number if you have any dietary requirements. The food was nice and the meat was substituted for nicely prepared vegetables or tofu. At breakfast there was always soya milk, oats, bread, fresh and dried fruit, seeds and jams.

WE had a front facing balcony room with a separate section for our daughter to sleep near the bathroom. Room size was great and offered a lovely view BUT... the single glazed floor to ceiling and wall to wall window and not clear signs of heating in the main bedroom area meant we were freezing. Also being in the centre of Les Deux Alpes surrounded by bars, which open to the early meant... sleep was not possible. The menu was supposed to be child friendly but it took a couple days for them to event try and provide something for her. In the end, we eat out at restaurants at lunchtime to ensure she had eaten a proper meal. It would be great hotel for adults only. The staff tried their best but NOT suitable for children under 13yrs.

Stayed at the Brunerie as a last minute change from Italy. We enjoyed the food every night and the buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had three rooms two twins at the rear and a quad at the front. We asked and got a supplementary heater for the quad room. Staff in the restaurant ( thank you Freeda !) and cleaners were fantastic. As per other reviews the snow plough makes a racket from around 4:00 am - so take some ear plugs! Sauna works, pool operates at 30 deg C - too cool for some. Instead of stopping outside the hotel at 5:00 am, Crystal coach drops you off and picks you up at the bus stop 200 m from the hotel allowing you to cart all your luggage along the slippery pathway.

We were a family of six on our first skiing holiday. The hotel was great, a little tired in places but the staff were amazing - especially the Greek girls and Johannas the bar man. The food was delicious, a real variety for the evening meals and an alternative if you didn't fancy the set menu - the children enjoyed their option every night. The rooms were very basic, but we only had time to sleep in them. The pool was broken for the majority of our stay but it was fixed by the Thursday and the children enjoyed using it. The only negative I can find to mention is the noise from the main road outside. Late night drinkers (often all night drinkers) kept us awake as did the snow plough - which I appreciate is necessary, but at 4am?!

Seems the ownership has changed and the fantastic food and warmth has gone.

Looks like last owners left with all the wall paintings and homely touches and left a cold and extremely run down hotel.

Carpets are appalling, ski lockers have been broken for weeks now it seems, restaurant windows need cleaning and some curtains, dining room is bright and cold like a goldfish bowl. We are in and out in 20 mins.

Clutter everywhere, scrappy sellotaped notices on every windows or door.

Salad/salami/cheese bar runs out halfway thru dinner the window and is never replenished… be quick or miss out.

No hairdryers in rooms, a single pillow on every bed, no pictures on walls

I will never use Crystal Crummy Ski again as this is appalling and I don’t want to come back here after a day on the mountain…robbery…
