The hotel is the best location in Deux Alpes, being right beside the Jandri Gondola.
There is a free car park (about 6 spaces) but there is also a free public car park right next door.
The room seemed to be recently decorated which was lovely however, for the size of the bathroom it would have been great to have a bath to soak in. The door to the bathroom was a very flimsy sliding door and so you can hear (and smell) everything coming from the bathroom.
The room was extremely hot and it seems that you cannot amend the temperature yourself so if you like to be hot then you will be very happy. There is a safe and a hair dryer and toiletries provided.
The ski room is basically a corridor full of lockers so there is not much room for you to put your boots on so as long as you are the only people in there then it's ok.
The service is great, food is amazing but too rich for me as it was similar to having a "posh dinner" every night. They are very accommodating for any dietary requirements.
The Umbrella bar is attached to the hotel and has great music and apres ski but it's only loud until about 7pm.
The wifi is not good and I think this is just standard for this hotel, even though reception mention this when you arrive and make it sound like it's a recent problem.

Booked this hotel as a result of the number of fantastic reviews across multiple sites and we weren’t proved wrong. Such a comfortable, cosy and really stylishly furnished hotel. Kingsize really comfy bed, always hot rainfall shower, loads of storage space in the room. Breakfast to cater for all nationalities with a really great coffee machine. Half board food was exceptional, would highly recommend. Location is perfect, set back a minutes walk from the centre of the resort, right on the slopes and very near to ski school meeting points. Umbrella bar next door is pretty cool with a great buzz! Fantastic hotel soundproofing, no disturbance from the bar which closes at 7 anyway (open at 4). We really would recommend a stay here, we loved everything about it!

Although having been a regular guest for years to the hotel both in summer as well as in winter, this trip marked the first time around New Year’s eve and there with peak-season. Although it was just an unusual short stay of only three nights, it was as good as any of my previous stays.
The New Year’s Eve dinner was varied, delicious and a perfect demonstration of what the hotel restaurant has to offer.

My stay was in one of the few remaining older rooms, which are still very good But having stayed in one of the new rooms as well, the old one does feel a bit outdated. The beds are good, but if could be a bit longer (not an unusual issue in France).

If there are points of criticisms, it would be the hallway with the ski-lockers and the lockers themselves. The latter are a bit cramped if both wider skis are combined with large size ski-boots. Furthermore, if multiple guests are trying to access a locker, it might get a bit finicky and cramped.

All in all, it confirmed why I have stayed at the hotel so many times before, and why I will continue to go there in the future.

This lovely, cozy hotel that is owned by a family has all the amenities one could ask for when planning a ski trip for a week. The ski lockers have direct access to the slopes and are located near the main lifts. The lively après-ski bar and the nice sauna are perfect for some post-skiing relaxation. Additionally, the dinners are four-course meals and always leave a lasting impression.

We stayed in hotel with our family. 2 adults 2 kids (7 & 10) we had 3rd floor room the room is modern well laid out plenty of storage but dark.
No kettle/coffee maker in the room. The stairs is very steep to the mezzanine. Rooms were clean bathrooms nice shower only.
Ski locker is 1 person wide with 1 small bench (2 people to sit on) for all residents hotel.
there was a large locker for non residents. We had 4 persons skiing but storage for just 3. No way to fit 4 in the locker.
Umbrella bar is there for lunch with chips/burgers/hotdogs. Lively apres ski until 7pm music can be heard in hotel. Didn’t visit the spa but it must be booked 30min time slot at reception. Resturant a big let down. We ate out most of the time despite paying 1/2 board, very limited for vegetarian or children (only chicken & potatoe/pasta. No chips). 10 yr old shouted in his face for getting off his seat. When did eat never had desert as it just took too long for service.
Breakfast was fine but short window when getting out for ski school.
No apres ski snack.
Overall would not recommend for young family. Maybe teenagers who can use the apres ski and spa.
Would not recommend or stay againq
Overall disappointed

I LOVED this place. The atmosphere is amazing for apres ski. Great music. Great wine. Great burgers and chips. Overall a fantastic time. Definitely worth going to. Opens late aswell. A lot of fun!!! I really really enjoyed spending my apres ski time here - everyone is on such a good buzz. Great vibes.

One day we got ham and cheese paninis here - they smelled so strong so be aware of that - still tasted okay!!

A lovely family run hotel situated at the foot of the slopes. The staff were lovely, we were half board and each night the dinner was excellent. If you don’t want to eat the plat du jour you can choose from the menu. The spa was lovely with steam room, sauna and hot tub available for guests to use, free of charge. Massages can be booked for a charge. There is free outdoor parking right next to the hotel, and for those who like early apres ski, the hotel is next to the Umbrella Bar which closes by 1900. Ski lockers in the hotel are convenient and you can even buy your ski pass from a machine at the hotel reception. Our six night stay here was lovely, I would recommend this hotel.

We have spent one week at Hotel Cote Brune with the kids (4 and 6 years old) in February 2024. Bedrooms are spacious, splendid and very well suited for a family. The half board offers excellent value for money (very good breakfast and excellent cuisine with a nice choice of options for the 3-courses dinner). The hotel location directly on the ski slopes, convenient ski lockers and great shared facilities of the hotel (spa and couch area) add to the excellent quality of the offer.

Noisy you go to sleep when the kitchen staff go to sleep after 10pm You wake up when they start work in morning 6am. Utter joke. Avoid this hotel it looks all nice and peaceful but one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in for noise. Honestly it’s like the kitchen staff are smacking pans around in your bedroom. The noise is unreal. Woke our child up so many times.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Rooms were very stylish clean and comfortable as were restaurant, bar and lounge areas. The basement spa has a high end feel about it. The three course dinner was excellent and of good restaurant standard. Breakfast was also very good with the usual continental choices available and also boiled eggs. The homemade preserves and compotes are a nice touch. The restaurant and front of house staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is also perfectly situated next to the main lifts. If returning to Les Deux Alpes I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
