I stayed a week with family in this excellent 2 star hotel in two adjoining rooms. On arrival, it didn't look promising as the entrance is tired and doubles as a smokers area. However, we were soon in our rooms which were spacious with glorious views out the balcony, excellent modern bathrooms, one with bath, one with shower, and lovely... More

We stayed in Beaulieu for four nights over Easter with some friends who stayed in the slightly posher Carlina next door. The location is ok, quite a hike up the hill from centre village (steep in the end but not a long walk luckily!) and not exactly close to the ski lifts but it's not too bad. Like other reviewers... Small rooms, decent in itself but hugely overpriced at EUR 240 per night. Service in the restaurant was mediocre. Nothing wrong with the food, but that's about all. For half the price would have been fair.

This hotel is ideally located to the local bars and restaurants. The staff are friendly and welcoming here. The booking we had included breakfast which was of a big standard and perfect for fuelling up for a day of snowboarding/skiing. The nearest gondola is a 5 minute walk away making access to the piste simple enough. The free use of... More

The hotel has comfortable rooms (cosy), with balconies overlooking the valley and mountains beyond. A good continental breakfast each morning. The hotel is a leisurely 10 -15 minute walk to the gondola/slopes at the bottom of the village. Use the hire facilities at one of the ski hire shops to leave your skis/boots at the end of each day rather... More

We stayed here for 4 days in February half term. The hotel is 10 minutes walk into the charming town, and high enough for lovely valley views, if you can book a south facing room with balcony. The hotel is partnered with the next door 3 star Carlina Hotel, which has a pool, jacuzzi and sauna, fabulous bar and restaurant... More

Just returned from a great week in La Clusaz. A little worried that the hotel only had 2 stars but need not have been concerned. Our room was much better than many that we have stayed in in ski resorts. It had a balcony facing the mountains, a lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water, radiators that were adjustable and plenty... This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. It is perfect for a long ski weekend. We were made welcome by the receptionist who spoke very good English. We were able to check in at 11.00 am as our room was ready. There is a great breakfast selection which is constantly replenished by helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are decorated... More

Great hotel in a pretty good location (a little walk to the lift but not too bad and right above the town). Great breakfast, nice bar area and friendly staff. The rooms were a little small but not a significant issue. The bathroom was very smart. A great choice in a great resort

We were 2 couples and stayed at the junior suite on the top floor. The rooms were large enough and daily cleaning has been provided. The views were fantastic with a postcard view of the main mountain. Breakfast was excellent with variety of choices in breads, cheeses (the area is known for its cheeses), yoghurts, croissants, and fruits. All in... More
