I love Cassis so I may be a bit biased, but this was the first time I stayed the night there. The hotel is right on the port and has a breathtaking view. The rooms are clean and simple. I can't remember if I had wifi. I did not have time to eat breakfast, it was buffet style. I'd recommend...

The location of this hotel was very nice. It was great to have a view and such close proximity to all the shops and restaurants in Cassis. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily by very nice staff. We enjoyed the hotel. The problem we had was wit the reception, it was very difficult to speak with them...

The only positive to note is the extraordinary view you wake up to if you have a harbour view. That aside we booked for 2x nights and checked out after one due to the consistent bad odour in the room. Other than that the room was basic but what you expect for 2 * Though happy to pay for both...

Cassis is an affordable port town visited by mostly French on holiday, with only a few Americans around. Speaking our baby French, we had a blast eating fresh fish in the cafes and learning to drink iced Rose` wine in the warm afternoons and getting into Congac to top off our dinner at night. We selected the charming Hotel Le...

Our room at the hotel was smaller than average but it had a nice little balcony big enough for one person to sit comfortably. The room was clean, the bed was a bit smallish for someone over 1.85m. The hotel lies at the harbour, and it is about 5 minutes to walk to the other side where you can find...

Very good location. Great view on Marine Bay. For the rest I would say I'll give 2-3*** out of 10..... Please be ready to carry your suitcase by yourself to the room as there no elevator!!! The lady at reception was very friendly (can't say about the rest citizens in France...) , though she didn't speak English we managed to...

We stayed at this hotel in early September and asked for a room with a view of the water. We loved sitting on the small terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun set and the village come alive with lights and activity. There is a wonderful castle in the hills that is illuminated at night and it is...

Our rooms at this hotel were small, had not been updated in decades and the linens were small and scratchy. It was shocking to me that a lovely town like Cassis would have such a hotel that was so out of date and expensive. The saving grace was a very small balcony that looked out over the absolutely gorgeous bay...

Small room, sparse furniture and a rude receptionnist, but the view over the port made up for all of that! Our room on the second floor was indeed very small, as the bed was against the wall on one side and left perhaps three feet on the other, but it was clean, and in any event you are not in...

Don't be fooled by the view. This place smells so bad, we had to find another room in town. The receptionist was very rude. Plenty of other options in this beautiful town. Don't stay at Hotel Le Golfe.
