Lovely venue. The common area terrace - where you take breakfast, by the way - is absolutely stunning. My husband and I stayed in the standard suite (Camille) which was nothing over the top but plenty spacious, stone walls for that true castle feel & all the amenities you need. Room view was from a smallish window (with a love...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We booked a superior suite (Romantique) and we're truly gobsmacked by it when we arrived. Yes it's expensive but for us it was worth every penny. The suite itself is luxury. Decorated beautifully, the bed is extremely comfortable, the suite smelt amazing! I could have never gone outside......but then you step...

We only stayed one night in this beautiful place . We had booked a suite and were given the Moroccan one which is decorated like a Riad and hosts its own private terrace and a superbe bathroom with walk in shower and a large bath which nestles into an alcove. Only the distant sounds of the market in Marrakesh were...

The rooms and suites are poorly furnished. They are not luxurious. If you book a suite for 690 euros per night you get frozen croissants for breakfast. They can not even be bothered to give their guests freshly baked croissants...... in France! There are so many complaints one could make....... if you like being grossly over charged for sub standard...

This is a remarkable property that sits above the port of Cassis. It is only five rooms so expect a more intimate experience. Being at the top of a hill means a brisk walk into and back from the center of town, but only a ten minute walk, and the views are worth the exertion. The staff was gracious and...

On arrival at Chateau de Cassis, first and foremost be prepared for an extremely steep climb up to the location, with absolutely no help with your baggage what so ever, even on arrival to your room. Be prepared for a long walk up a small road which smells of sewage. We arrived in our room to find barely any furniture...

This is one of the harder reviews I’ve had to write. If you look at some of the bad reviews for Chateau de Cassis, you would say they were right. This is a very expensive B&B and you will not get personalized service, luggage assistance, etc. So as I thought about it, I loved this place and thought it was...

My fiancée and I recently traveled around the South of France and were told by a friend to stay at Chateau de Cassis. One of the best travel tips we've ever gotten! The Chateau is up in the hills overlooking the beach, town and marina of Cassis -- a quiet and unpretentious vacation town in the Côte d'Azur. Many people...
