Nice family run hotel rated as two star which undersells it. Decor is old as are room furnishings but is well maintained. The bedrooms are bright and have excellent views right down to the seaside. Hotel also has parking which is a must in this area. Nice terrace to eat breakfast which is standard continental style. The restaurant is fine...

If you look for the best of the best in the traditional french quality style please go here. Fantastic personal relaxed service. Our biggest mistake is that we room dinner here only 1 night. The other nights we followed TripAdvisor recommendations but to be honoust. ..nothing comes close to the restaurant of les Galets at very reasonable prices. Oh, and...

A comfortable, small, family-run hotel with to-die-for vistas panoramiques over the Mediterranean. We splurged - slight - for a larger room/terrace and it was definitely worth it. We were there at the end of March, pre-Easter, and therefore before the season kicked in. This meant that Bandol was relatively quiet and charming, although it might be not-so-quiet/charming in season. We...

This has hotel has much going for it, despite somethings that will make it a non starter for others. First of all, most rooms have a great view over the Bandol bay, sublime. Really sweet when the sun is up. it's built on the side of a steep hill, and there are lots of stairs to get to the hotel,...

Remember that hotel your parents took you to when you were young? It wasn't luxurious, but it was CLEAN and smelled good and the view was stunning and (according to your Dad, who didn't spend money easily) it was a great value? It exists, and it exists on the French Riviera in 2014. At less than 100 euros per night,...

Location, location, location. Our tiny room with even tinier balcony opened onto paradise: a gorgeous curve of a bay with a gentle surf hugging the beach. The hotel is a gentle walk away from the stridently tourist strip that is Bandol. At Les Galets, you feel far away from such overt brashness, so we decided to stay put and have...

We've been going to Bandol for many years but always stayed at the "other end" - Hotel Key Largo being a favourite. On a last minute booking we ended up here - fantastic. Our room, recently renovated (great shower) and with the quietest air conditioning ever, had a large balcony. Sitting up in bed you could look straight out to...

The math is easy: a typical Bandol restaurant will charge you €30 if you chose the starter+plate+dessert combo. And we always was disappointed. At "Les Galets" terrasse, although outside the center, we had a fantastic view over the Bandol bay into Six-Four. The menu only had a dozen choices (which could mean fresh product) and two menus. The owner further...

My girlfriend and I booked an Economy Room a for few days ago (mid-July) and stayed 2 nights. Our experience was not negative but nothing to write home about. Full disclosure: we are travelling on a budget - not a student budget, but still. Hence the economy room! The good: 1. The bed was really comfortable. Sufficient and supportive pillows...
