If you are looking for a budget hotel in a great location it's hard to fault this hotel. Right by the harbour and in the midst of all the restaurants and busy bars but set back and not too noisy. Free parking at the end of the Quay only a short walk away. The room was well equipped and clean with a lift and even though the hotel was full it was a peaceful stopover on our journey. Staff on the reception and breakfast were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was substantial and good value. A real bonus for us was the restaurant right next door had a superb quality set menu, 17.50, well worth another visit to both.
I stayed at this hotel during the summer holidays. Very basic amenities, e.g. no air-conditioning. But, given the price and the location I highly recommend. It is in the centre of the town, very close to the beach, bar and restaurants.
It is in the city center, and the room was big. But all the rest is poor - most importantly it's noisy, from the harbour, but also the pipes and some interior noises, also late evening and in the morning. The shower had mold, general standard, taking into consideration the price, is just poor. No hairdryer. Impossible to stop over on the street to get the luggage. The doors have poor locks. Ok for weekend stay, just for sleeping.
We booked the hotel for the location. We were unable to check in until 1630. Our room was small but adequate, unfortunately on entering the room there was a very unpleasant odour of urine and smelly feet! The cupboard door had come off its runners so was unusable. The separate toilet was the culprit for the smell of urine and even after flushing the loo several times it still persisted. Lack of thorough cleaning was obviously the reason. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were very poor quality. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The major plus for this hotel is its location with numerous bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. For very little effort this hotel could be a pleasant place to stay, the management needs to apply some attention to detail which would make a huge difference.…
If you're coming to this area of France for a long weekend away then this is a good hotel to stay in. We stayed in a harbor view room and it wasn't as noisy as people have said it is. It is a bit dated but we only needed the place for a bed for the nights we were there as were out and about all the time. Breakfast was simple but if you want a more substantial one there are plenty of bakery's. All in all we had a pleasant stay here. We would just suggest that the hotel put the shower hook at a suitable height on the wall (not at the height of the bath taps).
