We visited Le Mont Saint Michel in July 2016, and overall it was a brilliant experience. This hotel was one of the highlights. A fascinating old house converted into a family run hotel. We had two rooms: one for the kids, looking out over the inner bay, and one for ourselves looking out onto the abbaye. Both rooms were gorgeous... More

Yes its fine - traditional hostel style hotel with modern plumbing. Way too expensive for what you get. Breakfast 17euro for basic french buffet, including for children. But where else can you eat? Nowhere, so you're stuck.

We took the 1/2 board deal thinking we would not get a good choice of dishes for dinner. But this was not the case , with delicious starters main course cheese board and sweets (could not manage these) Great craic with street musicians playing outside. Room was ok but with a fantastic view of the mont. No lifts but the... More

The hotel is nestled in the heart of Mont St. Michel. It is quaint and charming, and allows for exploration when the streets are quiet and uncrowded. We were able to view the lighted isle from the bridge. Staff was accommodating to our late checkin. There is no elevator, and rooms are accessed by narrow, winding stairs, so limit your... More

We enjoyed our stay at the La Croix Blanche. Folks....this is a small Medieval town that surrounds and old Abbey. It's very quaint, but space is very tight for everyone on the island. And it's Europe where the rooms are not big by American standards. Know what to expect before going in. That being said, we felt the room size... More

We stayed for 1 night, the room is spotless clean with view of the bay. The hotel has a wonderful spiral staircase (5 floors), and no lift. Suggest you take only what you need for your stay and be prepared to do some climbing up and down the narrow staircase. We left most of our luggage in our rental car... More

We are fortunate enough to have taken a second trip to Mont St. Michel. Since our first stay at the Hotel Croix Blanche was so wonderful, we decided to stay there again. And we were just as happy the second time as we were the first! Spending the night on the Mont is absolutely magical. We love wandering the streets... More

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. We were in room 501 with a fantastic view of the abbey. The room was spotlessly clean. It was small but big enough to be comfortable and the bed was great. The streets were quiet after about 9pm but we were woken up with deliveries early Monday morning so had to close the window.... More

They say that location is what counts and this property is certainly in the right place, at the heart of Mont Saint-Michel. It's actually one of several adjoining properties all run by the one organisation (which can be a bit confusing since reception is not in this hotel but one of the others) and they have the market covered, at...
