The man collecting and delivering the linen at 4am was clearly making a meal of it too. We nearly went to help him to end the torture. Then , on Saturday night, they had one person working...

Used as a stop over on a trip from Bordeaux to Bruxelles. The Hotel is a short, 5-10 minute walk from the centre and has free controlled parking, making it very easy to go out for dinner and not worry too much about alcohol consumption. The Annex is currently been renovated and our room was "brand new". Breakfast was good...

Valenciennes is not the prettiest or most interesting town in France but the Ibis has friendly staff, clean sheets and a reasonable breakfast. It's a good rest point if you've done a long UK journey then ferried over to France and are heading further south.

We picked this hotel because it was close to the Stade Hainaut and we were visiting Valenciennes to see the football match v Niort. The hotel was clean and comfortable and we had a particularly good room because it had a balcony. There was no view from the balcony as such but it was fun nevertheless to sit with a...

We have stayed at this hotel several times - as we are never disappointed. The evening meal is microwaved food - but OK . The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for 2 nights - large room. Could do with a bit of TLC but clean and comfortable. Parking is free which is a bonus but plenty parking on street. Within walking distance of town centre and plenty eateries.

Nice hotel in a location which is easy to find. The room was acceptable and the breakfast was good. The staff was professional even if I did not have many chances to interact with them as I worked all day long.
