The hotel is essentially a converted house, with each room finished to a very high standard. The rooms are well equipped, and extremely clean. The WiFi was reliable and I could not find any fault with the rooms. The breakfast supplied was typically French, assorted breads and pasteries, along with fruit and a selection of cheese. Very tasty, and well...

This is a charming old property situated in old town. We were greeted on the pavement by our hostess and her husband guided my husband into a free parking space opposite. The room was clean and welcoming though we were unable to lock the door. Breakfast was served in our hosts kitchen and was plentiful and a lovely opportunity to...

The BnB is nicely situated, close walk to many attractions. The hosts Bernard and Dominique are welcoming, and will do their best to accommodate their guests, from breakfast time to restaurant and attractions suggestions. Their breakfast filled me up until supper time, with delicious daily fresh bread and croissants, cheese, ham, and Dominique's infamous homemade jam ! along with fresh...

Very nice hotel about 500m from city centre and 2kM from main train station. It does not have a reception so you need to arrange with owner about your arrival so that you can get the key. Beautiful rooms and nice large bed. Bathroom also large. Owner is very helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Absolutely fantastic and kind hospitality, exceeding all expectations and selected after a most favorable review of their website and positive visitor ratings. This was a treat to arrive and call home for a few days as a base for visiting Somme, Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele, other parts of Belgium, and of course Douai and Lille. After a lengthy day of driving...

I can't add much to the other reviews, it is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Douai and Le Louvre Lens. We first wanted to stay in Lens itself, but were very glad we didn't do that: what a gloomy little town, although the art deco railway station and some houses on the Place Jaurès are...

This B&B is the best. The host and hostess are very charming people, make you feel like family. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed in the "Les Trumeaux" room. The breakfast is a great variety of food, fresh breads, croissants, cheeses hams, homemade jams, and sweet buns. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Will...

For a weekend getaway to visit the Musee du Louvre in Lens my husband and I were guests in the Les Foulons Bed and Breakfast. The house, located in the heart of old Douai is a charming "maison du village". The hosts were so welcoming and generous it was more like visiting friends. Breakfast, which is served at the big...
