My partner and i were invited along with my sister and husband for a short stay. This gem did not disappoint from start to finish. Mark and Peter have been very sympathetic in restoring the building to the 1930's grandure to the point that an episode of a period drama could be set here with minimal fuss. The rooms are...

La Villa De Mazamet is a true gem. This boutique hotel never disappoints. The rooms are immaculate, the linens crisp, and the pillow options perfect. And that's just the beginning of a guest's experience. Peter and Mark are the consummate hosts. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable about the region as well as the wines and cheeses and always has terrific suggestions...

La Villa Mazamet is a beautiful place to relax and spend time. The rooms are immaculate, spacious and tastefully furnished. Mark & Peter are excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way. The dinners at La Villa are not to be missed, they are delicious, beautifully presented. A real gem of a place. A lovely restored building, that is presented really well, with some lovely touches. If you want some help planning trips they have really done their homework and prepared great information and are very knowledgeable on the area. The service is fantastic and the food was mouthwatering. A nice selection of local wines are available...

First, I'd like to thank Mark and Peter for making us so welcome and comfortable. And I join other guests in saying that this is the perfect place to stay for a wonderful holiday. It's pretty rare to see a hotel with such glowing reviews, from top to bottom. The Villa deserves all the superlatives and more. The accommodations are...

Once again a wonderful experience - our fourth visit and the standard is still excellent. Thank you Mark and Peter for making us feel so welcome and the food just seems to get better and better, how that is possible we do not know. We would advise anyone staying at the Villa de Mazamet to experience one of Peter's superb...

A year ago I wrote a review saying our first visit to La Villa de Mazamet would not be our last - well, here we were again. So many of the guests you meet are repeat visitors, and multiple repeat visitors, which says an awful lot about the experience. This is a wonderful haven of immaculately presented rooms, superb service,...

This was our second visit to La Villa de Mazamet - this time to spend the Easter weekend in this elegant haven of calm and splendid cuisine. We thought that we had exhausted all of the superlatives on our previous visit; nevertheless, the attentiveness to detail on every level made this the perfect experience: from a warm and friendly welcome,...

Perfection from arrival to departure! Arrived to a warm reception by our hosts with mulled wined, while our bags were taken to our room. Bedroom was a lovely airy room, lots of space, and lots of light, great views to the hills above the town. The coffee machine is a nice touch! Much better than a kettle and instant coffee! A...

Our fourth visit to La Villa in September simply confirmed what we already knew. No other hotel/B&B can match the friendly service and quality of food and facilities that Mark and Peter provide in their "home-from-home" in Mazamet. This year we enjoyed dining al fresco at the poolside for the first time under the stars! On an earlier visit we...
