Stopped for a coffee but decided to have a hot chocolate instead. We have visited this hotel/restaurant on several occasions for a meal and for a drink. Every time we have been made very welcome and had a good experience. The food is good and more importantly for us, good value. We were in Gourdon so decided to stop for...

We were on a biking tour and this was one of the overnights. It has the vibe of a backpacker's hotel. The investment in the decor of the pub far exceeded the investment (economic, emotional and otherwise) in the hotel part. With a little more personal commitment, the WiFi would probably work, the toilet would probably flush properly, there would...

in this case definitely never again! One of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Everything was lukewarm and had obviously been reheated. Chips were like rubber and aiguilettes like leather. The spoonful of chicory was a sorry excuse for a salad serving. We were 5 altogether and one of the group was ill after the meal. Spoke...

This is a great place …a pub with rooms and friendly atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights in January …outside it was cold and wet ..inside warm and cosy. The room was very clean and warm …a tad small but adequate. Bed was comfortable too. Breakfast was continental including croissant, bread, yogurt and very good coffee, we were very happy...

Hubby and I stayed in this hotel whilst travelling through France down to Spain. We found it using the Rough Guide to France. We hadn't pre-booked but got a nice room on the first floor - there is only the ground floor and upper but no lift. The hotel is small with approximately 10 rooms - ours looked out onto...

A good small town hotel, with reasonable prices, spotlessly clean rooms (albeit a bit small), in a very quiet environment (we had a room overlooking the garden). But why do they put plastic protections on the mattresses? It makes you feel as if you were sleeping on a hospital bed. The hotel is well located near the town centre, and...

On first arriving I was a little hesitant, as this "Logis de France" hotel looked a little tired. However, the Host and Hostess were friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and the Dinner in the evenings was good, and generous. The breakfast was a typical "French Breakfast" and could have done with being more varied/generous in proportion, but...

This busy hotel is well located in the centre, although when we were there it was trapped inside the 'foire exposition' so surrrounded by stalls exhibiting all manner of household equipment. We would recommend it highly as the staff were very helpful even though very busy and our bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely view of gardens and countryside....

“All rooms are off the road and quiet. Wifi in room not particularly good..better in the bar.”

“Although the hotel is on a road it isn't really too busy and we weren't worried by noise at all at night. There is a small pool table at the back of the restaurant/bar area.”
