There's a consistency amongst many of the reviews - a 2 star hotel is a 2 star hotel, so the rooms are clean ,presentable and well priced , but not exceptional. This 2 star and its owners , Stefan and Cecile try hard and have added some lovely little touches with a jacuzzi and pool table. Car parking and bike... More

We were staying here during a race so we needed a cyclist friendly environment. The hotel was comfortable, we were able to store our bikes safely and then we decided to eat hate in the evening... Wow! Excellent food, well presented and super friendly service. Merci beaucoup!

Excellent regional hotel, renovated facilities & rooms, convenient location, food to die for! Family run hotel and restaurant, could not ask for a nicer experience. We were a group 19 cyclists and the location is perfect. This is also our 11th year of being here and we feel like family. Would highly recommend staying here!!

Loved this hotel. Renovated in original style, very friendly and helpful hosts, spa and sauna for after cycling, places for bikes, excellent locally sourced food and great wine list. What more could we ask for? Apart from to come back for winter ski adventures.

We travelled as a group of 25 cyclists in September 2015. This small hotel is a great surprise. The rooms are comfortable. The quality of evening meal is excellent and is to be commended. Stéphane (hotelier) was extremely hospitable and even loaned one of the group, his bike wheels, while repairs were carried out. All very good value and centrally... More

Visited as a group of 8 cyclists. The hotel is comfortable, nice rooms, good ( but expensive) food. The family that run the place perhaps need to smile more, and remember that it is a hotel, and hotels are there for guests. If we stayed here again we would stay elsewhere.

We feel like we struck gold staying at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights to explore the area where Argeles-Gazost was the first town before the fork in the road to either the Cirque De Gavarnie or Pont du L'Espange as the two main natural attractions we wanted to visit in the area for walking. The hotel and rooms are... More

My wife, son and I enjoyed the hospitality very much. The hotel as a bicycle garage which is very convenient. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The hosts are very warm and friendly. We stayed during a particularly hot time of the year. The hotel did not have air conditioning, but was still comfortable with a room fan.

Biking: tons of route options from Argeles. The hotel has a bike storage locker and a great back-yard for post ride beers and hanging out. Food: they deserve a Michelin Star. Dinner is 5 courses and each of the 4 nights we were there we were amazed at the taste and attention to detail that went into the meals. Is... More

The Arrieulat rooms are functional and pretty basic, but spacious enough. The hotel is clearly geared up to the outdoor traveller, with good facilities such as a small pool and spa room as well as a games room. The restaurant forms part of the lobby and this is a hidden gem. With an open kitchen the restaurant delivered a completely... More
