Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for three nights with our two sons, aged 10 and 13. The room was ideal with twin beds for the boys and double for us and still room to move around. The toilet is separate from the shower and bath, which makes things easier when four are sharing. There is a very useful mini kitchen counter with a microwave, kettle and coffee maker. The boys were able to warm up snacks and waffles and we were able to have a cuppa.

Getting from the airport was easy- no directions needed to the Stade de France and the hotel is right opposite. Make sure you tell the cab driver that you are at the Suites Novotel not the Novotel as there is another one nearby just called Novotel.

Breakfast is a simple self serve affair, but we found it ideal for filling up before a day of sightseeing. Also one of our sons is a teenager and needs a LOT of food. The selection is mainly cold, although a microwave is available for heating up pancakes, waffles and pastries. There's a fridge full of yoghurt, milk, butter, ham and cheese and a counter full of pastries, bread and jam next to a coffee/tea machine and juice dispenser. There's also plenty of cereal. We opted to have breakfast included, which works out more cheaply than paying for it daily.

As far as location is concerned, St Denis is a mainly residential business district but an 8 minute walk to the RER station puts you just 3 stops from Notre Dame- I mean you literally come out of the station and there it is. It's also just one stop from Gare du Nord if you get here by Eurostar.

Restaurants in Paris seem to close around 9.30, so if you're hungry after that the hotel has a fridge full of sandwiches, pasta salads and desserts. There is a restaurant next door but it looked very expensive at around 10E for a beer and again, it was closed by 9.30. There weren't many other places to eat in the area without a long wander, but there is a McDonalds a 10 min walk away that's open a bit later. (not for me, for the kids!)

All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel and it helped make our stay in Paris even more enjoyable. We had no complaints at all. Also- free wifi!

The hotel is situated near the National Stadium of France and reachable by public transport from the center. It takes 45 minutes from the center to reach to the hotel.
The reception is working 24hrs and check in is efficient. You need to buy your needs from the reception as there is no amenity or etc in the room.
The room is big and clean. The carpet needs cleaning. Sleep comfort is fine. The free Wi-Fi increases the satisfaction.
The breakfast menu is enough for the breakfast needs. I suggest for short stays.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of town. Expect nothing less of Novotel. Employees very attentive and welcoming. They offer brilliant advice and support when looking at booking football matches at the park de Princes for Paris Saint Germain.

My room was really well equipped and a beautiful size. No issues at all throughout my stay. The area this hotel is in is very close to bars cafes restaurants and McDonald’s and KFC very good for late at night food.

Be very careful when traveling around St Denis. All in all highly recommend this hotel especially for sporting accommodation. There is also brilliant safe parking near by that is reasonable priced throughout.

Highly Recommended.

I will start with the positives. The rooms are a good size and the shower is nice.
However, the hotel over all is tatty and tiered and in need of a revamp, there is a strange smell in the corridors and everything on front desk is over priced.
To top off a very average stay the cleaner binned a bag belonging to my son (6 years old) with a photo from PSG stadium tour in with 2 football players who he is besotted with when I reported this to reception desk the guy was extremely rude, dismissive and did nothing at all to help in any way.
There are lots more hotels in and around Paris and I would not recommend this one the surrounding areas are very basic, there is little in terms of places to eat. This hotel would serve a purpose for conciencien e for one night if you were visiting stade de France.

Disappointing experience and not worth the 4 stars. I stayed here two nights on a business trip. Hotel is a bit worn down. In both the hallways and in the room, the carpet is dirty. The room smelled and was very hot, even with the heating off. There were stains on the table and on the bedside table. The water drainage of the shower was not working properly, resulting in water all over the bathroom. The bathroom and toilet are “plastic inserts” in the room (like they have at the Formula1 hotels…), which is not 4 star like, in my opinion. So all in all I would not recommend this hotel

Just returned from a stay in this great hotel. Spacy room and good breakfast. We took our ebikes with us from home to explore Paris due to our wedding anniversary. Parked the hotel in the hotel (€18 per night). Front desk guy ; Hussain helped us very friendly with any question we had. Great hospitality and excellent service. Thanks very much for making our stay so convenient. We felt at home!

Stayed here in 2014 for approx 2 months. Location is very good with just opposite to Stade de France. many office premises are nearby and walking distance. Very spacious room, actually its a suite which can accommodate 4 pax easily.
Bed was comfortable , room was big enough with sofa cum bed. Big point is you cannot get bored as TV had a pre installed movies and series stuff. Room includes microwave too to heat up the food. Staff were very helpful. many restaurants are nearby. RER is also just 5 min walk from the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay .

We had the Superior room for a family of 4. I travel a lot for work but this visit was for pleasure.
Location:
we found the location of easy reach by motorway. Easy to find.
Parking at Weekends on the street is FREE. A little disappointed that Reception did not point this out. (half review point taken away for not being transparent with me). I asked a local business security guard who was very helpful.
The hotel is in easy reach of the Rail/Metro. less than 10 mins walk.

Room:
Very clean and very comfortable. It looked as if it had a recent uplift and styled for easy cleaning and maintenance. Was impress that the room was prepared for 4 guests. Sofabed made and an additional single bed placed in the room. Towels and supplies sufficient for 4 people. Well done. Air Con works but was a little weak. (half point taken away for weak air con)

Breakfast:
There is not sufficient space for breakfast. We we fortunate that we got a table. Selection was very limited. There is an egg station where you can cook your own egg. Coffee was not great. many items were not replenished and I could see the staff were struggling. On reflection I would probably not book with breakfast and instead find a local place.
(one point taken away as you definitely can do better with breakfast)

Check-in & Service:
Check-in was very easy and staff most welcoming. Only point was they could have told me that parking on street was free at weekends.
Evening reception staff was pleasant but he was more focused on the football on the TV. I forgive him - he definitely had World Cup Fever.
Check-out was so easy and so swift.

Why 3 out of 5 for Rating:
Well like I said I travel a lot and stayed in so many hotels. What I point out are key fundamentals that hotels need to get right - Food, Service and Air-con. You can can easily achieve 5 stars if you address the point I make.
Would I stay with you again. YES - so I am giving you back 1 point :-)

Fellow Family Guests: do not be put off by the location next to stadium. This hotel is family friendly and also has some activities in Reception area to keep them occupied.

This place was neither amazing or horrible - falls somewhere in between. Rooms are big but dated and give more of a 2 or 3 star rating feeling (there or some 3 star options in the area which I would check out)

Fairly close to metro 10-15 min walk and from that station about a 15 ride to the Notre-Dame so not bad if you want to stay out of the downtown core. Super easy to find just off the highway - if doing a road trip through Europe and you don’t want to enter the ring it’s a decent stay but have a look as you might find better value.
