Unfortunately the hotel is a bit tired. The exterior is a little scruffy, and the rooms a little dated, perfectly clean, but old furniture. We stayed one night on a night when the temperature was around 25 degrees, so the room was stifling. The hotel is also on a busy road junction, so keeping the windows open meant that sleeping...

Not a great hotel but its ok value for the money. The location is pretty good. Short walk across the bridge to the centre of town. It is a wee bit dated but they are refurbishing the public areas. I found the room and the bed quite comfortable. All in all its about right for the money

Stayed here for 1 night with my mother on the 3rd night of a 5 night trip to France. Our first 2 nights had been great as the hotels were lovely (neither expensive or 5*) I knew this was going to be cheap & cheerful but although cheap it certainly wasn't cheerful. However, the lady & gentleman at reception were...

Stayed for 2 nights and was very pleased with the hotel. It had a friendly atmosphere and there was a homely feel to the place. Breakfast was good again it was the pleasant staff and surroundings that made it. I understand other trip advisor comments and agree it is not the most modern. However if we were to visit here...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good situation; just across the bridge from the main town and close to lots of good restaurants, the cathedral and the wonderful Imperial Palace and Gardens. Rooms have seen better days and the bathroom was tiny. Street parking outside but you have to pay.

Spent there 4 days for a business trip. Starting from the positive side, the staff was extremely friendly, and made you really feel at home. There was as well the possibility of renting a private garage, so that the car was perfectly locked & safe during my stay, and for a reasonable price. The rooms were very basic, actually I...

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in a family room (111). We returned to this hotel in 2013, having last stayed here in 2008, and the hotel has not improved since then. We arrived late due to Paris traffic, to find that the 'Garage Prive' we had reserved, was in fact not available. The room was basic, but let down...

We came by Compiegne on our way back home from coast, and were looking for an affordable and nice place to stay. Although this hotel only has two stars, and looks very old from the outside, we thought the room was pretty good. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Although the rubber mattress protector is indeed annoying (like mentioned in...

This hotel looks appealing as you approach it over the bridge from the town. The young lady at reception was very friendly and the parking is secure behind an automated gate. you can also have a private garage for 7 euros. When we got to the room it was very drab and lacks basic things like bedside tables, the light...

I have stayed there for two nights. searching the hotel with a portal it looked like the best choice for the price and location. the rooms are OK but in the bathroom there is nearly no place to turn around. there were some blankets that looked like Napoleon also used them and the floor was creaking all over the room....

“try to avoid the street side, it can be a bit noisy”

“Look at room first. A "better" room was larger and overlooked the river but had a bath tub (with a shower head on a hose) instead of a shower. Bargain for a lower rate if not satisfied: there was little argument regarding lowering the rate.”
