This will be one of the most colorful memories of our holidays. On a way from ski resort we've stopped for a night in this place and it took us back in time at least a couple hundred years back. Very authentic mansion house in the middle of the fields counting its history from 13th century. It keeps an atmosphere...

This was our 3rd stay at this truly perfect hotel. We took over the whole establishment with a group of 12 from 3 families on route to the alps skiing. Macon is the ideal stop over distance from Calais. The rooms are beautifully decorated in classic French style. The hosts prepared a superb 5 course meal that was as delicious...

We stopped for one night on our return from Cannes to Laon and then on to the U.K.. The room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. We had also booked a meal. The meal started with aperitifs in the garden and was followed by a sumptuous delight of 5 courses all served with wine. We sat with another family and we...

Our host was charming, speaking very good English which was helpful. She made suggestions for dinner in Macon which we took up,and...

Le Clos is a charming place, and the owners are delightful! We arrived very late, and had agreed this in advance, as they normally do not welcome people after...

Spoke to Caroline on phone and she agreed to accommodate 3 families on Christmas Day on route to skiing holiday in Tignes. We were treated to a 6 course Gala meal which was truly amazing in both quality and value for money. The meal was prepared fresh by Caroline and served by her husband. They could not have been more...

The welcome we received here was second to none! The couple are charming and cheerful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We stayed in Eidleweiss room and thoroughly enjoyed the comfy beds, jack and jill sinks and fancy shower. Everything was lovely and clean and the wifi was excellent.
