The property and décor is beautiful. Felt like we were staying in a luxury with modern amenities including a great bathroom and excellent breakfast. We only had a bit of trouble finding the place. Otherwise, perfect experience!

Beautifully restored peaceful chateau with wonderful views. The room, full of antiques was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a treat with homemade conserves in yet another glorious room. Congratulations to the owners for their hard work bringing the chateau on into the 21st century.

The hotel and room décor is really really good. The bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast was typical and done well. Shame check-in was as late as 6pm with no bar or food facilities. The member of staff we met was very friendly and accommodating, (though no English spoken).

Very tastefully presented Chateau, filled with interesting items and lots of theatrical touches. Our bedroom was comfortable with its own sitting area and the bathroom had a powerful shower. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but a communal drinks making area was located on the same floor. Breakfast was served in the very elegant dining room. Although...

This chateau is about 4 miles out of Fougerres at the top of a hill with a tremendous view of surrounding farmland. The chateau is in great shape with huge old fashioned rooms furnished to the nines with appropriate to the times furniture and decorations. Bathrooms are bigger than most hotel rooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast is included.

Had a lovely night in this chateau. Beautifully situated in stunning grounds. Very helpful hosts who allowed us to picnic in the garden. We had a lovely well appointed room and great breakfast. Appreciated the availability of tea and coffee.

This is a mini Gothic castle & yes, you can stay here! It is absolutely beautiful. There are 5 guest rooms & each is divine. On our recent holiday to France we booked this B&B because of its proximity to Mont St. Michelle. It's less than an hour away. We stayed 2 nights here & I could have stayed a...

This is described as a fourteenth century chateau out in the country. The owners explained to us that actually it was rebuilt entirely about two hundred years ago, on the same spot and using the same stones - which explains why it so does not look like a fourteenth century castle. Has its own chapel out back, and a rusted...

After staying in several quaint, but tiny hotel rooms in France, this was a welcome change. We are staying a real chateau, complete with everything you would expect it to look like. Our room is basically a suite. A large bedroom, complete with a fireplace, beautiful wood furniture, chairs, artwork...and a separate large bathroom, also with beautiful furniture. Our room...

We stayed here for two nights when we visited Fougrès. 10 mins outside the town. Luckily we had a full sunny day to enjoy the property. The view was excellent. It was on the high ground opened to a valley and farm land. The property has many arces, with meadow and forest. You can stroll around the property, the air...
